Ryan Reynolds Wanted For Highlander

Ryan Reynolds is being targeted to appear in 'Highlander'.

The 'Safe House' actor is reportedly the frontrunner to take on the lead role in the forthcoming reboot, and though no formal offers have yet been made, sources tell Variety that both the actor and studio Lionsgate-Summit are "very interested" in working together on the project.

However, the insiders add that Ryan is also weighing up other offers and could instead pursue other projects.

Plot details for the movie are not yet known, but the original series - which began with a 1986 movie and had several sequels and a TV show - followed an immortal swordsman through the centuries as he battled other immortal warriors.

Juan Carlos Fresnadillo is to direct the movie with Neal Moritz and Peter Davis producing through Moritz's Original Film banner along with Enrique López Lavigne and Belen Atienza.

Ryan was last seen in 'Safe House', which has grossed over $120 million at the U.S box office and has not yet committed to any new projects since the success of the movie.

However his 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' character, Deadpool, is getting a spin-off movie, though it is not confirmed when work will begin on the project.

The John Travolta Sex Scandal Continues….

Since the last John Travolta post, another massage therapit has sued JT for $2 million dollars (so that's now 2 x $2mil = $4 million lawsuit). But will there be a third??? YES, there's a few more already according to the lawyer representing the John Doe's!!! Anyway, because this whole story is so tangled and twisted here's Radar Online's detailed take:

The first masseur who says John Travolta sexually harassed him claims to have proof to back up his January 16 allegation, but RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned the Hairspray star's attorney is countering with proof of their own that he wasn't in the same state at the time.

Two unidentified masseurs have stepped forward with lawsuits against Travolta, claiming charges of assault, sexual battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress — the first of which alleges the incident occurred at the Beverly Hills Hotel on January 16, 2012.

Travolta's top-notch attorney Marty Singer has refuted the allegations from the beginning saying, "On the date when plaintiff claims John met him, John was not in California and it can be proved that he was on the East Coast."

Despite John Doe #1's lawyer Okorie Okorocha making claims that he can prove John was in Los Angeles at the time, Singer exclusively tells RadarOnline.com that he has documents proving otherwise.

"My client was in New York on January 15. We have flight and hotel records," Singer said.

A credit card receipt surfaced showing that Travolta was in New York on January 16 — and Okorocha argued Travolta may have flown out there in the evening, after the incident occurred with his client.

"The credit card receipt that Mr. Travolta says proves he was in New York City has a time stamp of 11:38 p.m., our complaint clearly says the assault occurred in the morning of January 16. This credit card receipt proves absolutely nothing, and it doesn't account for the day of January 16," Okorocha said.

"My client was sexually assaulted at 10 a.m. Travolta could make it to New York on horseback in that time."

But Singer claims the explosive new flight and hotel records will prove Travolta was in New York January 15 all the way through the 16th.

Anyone convinced? Now that John Doe #3+ have joined the lawsuit, things might NOT be looking so good for Travolta who has LONG BEEN the center of gay/spa sex rumors for years.
