Bill Murray Drives Golf Cart Drunk

Bill Murray is facing charges of being drunk and in charge of a golf buggy.

The 'Caddyshack' star - who had been at a Swedish golf tournament - was stopped by Stockholm police when they saw the cart being driven "erratically on the pavement" through the city center at 3.30am on Sunday.

Murray, 56, was asked to take a breath test because the officers believed they could smell alcohol on his person, but he refused citing American legislation.



Detective Inspector Christer Holmlund said: "He refused to blow in the instrument. So we applied the old method - a blood test. It will take 14 days before the results are in."

The comic actor was taken into custody and signed a document acknowledging he had been operating the cart under the influence.

He also agreed to let a police officer plead guilty for him should the case go to trial.

Murray - who was allowed to leave the country on Monday (08/20/07) - will be charged if tests reveal his blood level exceeded the legal limit in Sweden.

The Oscar-nominated actor apparently "borrowed" the golf buggy from the Scandic Anglais hotel when he had been staying to drive the 800 yards to the Cafe Opera nightclub. He was pulled over on his way back.

Fredrik Nilsmark, head of the Scandinavian Masters golf tournament, said: "I don't hold any grudge against Bill Murray for borrowing our cart for a while."

Australian pop singer Peter Andre's wife is at the center of a breastfeeding row after posing for photos with their new baby and a branded bottle of infant formula, which cannot legally be advertised.

In a photo shoot for Britain's OK! magazine, Andre and Katie Price - also known as Jordan - are seen bottle feeding their three-week-old daughter, Princess Tiaamii.

In one of the photos, Andre's hand obscures the label on the bottle.



Promoting infant formula for babies under the age of six months is banned in the UK.

Potentially adding to the concerns of breastfeeding campaigners, high-profile glamour model Jordan, who has cosmetically enhanced size 34FF breasts, defends bottle feeding in an interview to accompany the photos.

"It's brilliant. I have 20 crates of teats and bottles," she told the magazine.

"I don't have to sterilize or heat anything, you literally take the teat out, screw it on, and throw it away.

"I don't care what people say - you don't have to breastfeed ... I don't want a baby drinking from me - the thought of it makes me feel really funny."

Lindsay Lohan was Coked Up and Drunk

Lindsay Lohan was allegedly drunk and had cocaine in her system during an early morning smash-up in Beverly Hills on Memorial Day weekend.

According to multiple law enforcement sources, toxicology reports conclude that Lohan, 20, had "nearly twice the legal limit" of alcohol and traces of blow in her bloodstream when she crashed her 2005 Mercedes SL-65 convertible into a curb on Sunset Blvd. around 5:30 AM on May 26. In California, drivers with a .08 or higher are legally drunk.

Police tell TMZ Lohan and two other adults were in the car at the time of the accident. After the crash, she was taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries, then placed under arrest on suspicion of DUI. Cops later said they found a "usable amount" of cocaine in the car.

Meanwhile Lindsay has been tipped to play Paris Hilton in a movie of her life.

The 'Mean Girls' actress, who is currently in Malibu's Promises rehab
centre, could also be joined by Britney Spears on the project.

A source told Britain's Daily Mail newspaper: "There have already been
negotiations with a major film company to make the Paris Hilton biopic with
Lindsay Lohan playing Paris - with Britney Spears singing the soundtrack."

The three stars have previously been seen partying together.

Lindsay and Britney both entered rehab this year, while Paris was released
from prison on Tuesday (06.26.07) after serving 23 days for driving with a
suspended license.

Last year, Paris and Lindsay - who have a tempestuous relationship -
reportedly had a heated argument in Hollywood nightclub Hyde, after the
hotel heiress accused the flame-haired actress of using her name to get
publicity and for romancing ex-lover Stavros Niarchos.

However, the trio are now set to be reunited for the film and Paris is said
to be excited about the project.

The source added: "Paris was on cloud nine. Rather than talking remorsefully
about her time inside, she seemed energised by her plans to capitalise on
her experience."
