How Cameron Diaz Met Drew Barrymore

Cameron Diaz was saved by Drew Barrymore from a row with a man the first
time the pair met.

The 'Charlie's Angels' stars, who are now close friends, first met when
Cameron was a 16-year-old model and Drew was a 14-year-old hellraiser.

Cameron told Harper's Bazaar magazine: "I first met Drew when she stuck up
for me in a Beverly Hills magazine shop when this guy was being aggressive.

"I knew who she was. I wasn't really star-struck, but I felt like I knew
her in a different way, as we all do when we watch people on television."

Ever since their initial encounter Drew has always felt protective of
Cameron, who she calls "Le Poo".

Drew said: "I still feel very territorial with her."

Cameron Diaz Pigs Out

Cameron Diaz has turned to comfort eating to ease the pain of her split from
Justin Timberlake, it has been claimed.

The slender Hollywood beauty was seen gorging on calorific treats during Las
Vegas' NBA All-Star game on Sunday (02.18.07).

A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: "The staff took her back to
the concession command center, where the courtside waiting staff places
orders.

"She ordered two hot dogs for herself - and ate a side order of nachos while
they were being prepared.

"She looked fantastic, brown hair and all. She was turning heads left and
right."

During the game, Cameron chatted to Eva Longoria.

Adam Sandler, Steve Carell, Prince, Beyoncé Knowles, Jeremy Piven and Jamie
Foxx also had courtside seats.

The night before, Jamie visited Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel and Casino's Body
English nightclub, where he serenaded the crowd with an impromptu
performance.

A source said: "Ludacris was so impressed he grabbed the mike after Jamie
and also gave a surprise performance. It was in-sane!"

Drew Barrymore Doesn’t Need a Man for Valentine’s Day

Drew Barrymore hasn't got a date for Valentine's Day.

The actress - who recently split from her boyfriend of four-and-a-half years
The Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti - revealed her Valentine's heartbreak
at the London premiere of her new movie 'Music and Lyrics' last night
(02.05.07).

She told BANG showbiz: "I'm not sure what I'm doing for Valentine's Day. I
will probably go bowling with all of my single girlfriends. Well, we have
such a good time together and I love my girlfriends. We go out to dinner, to
the movies, out drinking wine. It's a great time to see my friends."

Drew braved the cold in a strapless John Galliano dress to meet fans who had
gathered for the premiere in Leicester Square.

Her co-star Hugh Grant - who plays a washed up 80s pop star in the romantic
comedy - arrived on the red carpet with his girlfriend Jemima Khan.

Always the gentleman, the actor whisked his love inside to keep warm, and
then returned to talk to waiting fans.

Hugh had nothing but praise for Drew.

He gushed: "It was lovely for me, miserable for Drew. She brought me up and
I brought her horribly down."

Drew Barrymore is Too Free

Drew Barrymore has split from her boyfriend Fabrizio Moretti.

The actress has decided to end her five year romance with The Strokes
drummer to spend some time on her own.

A source close to Drew told Us Weekly magazine: “Drew said they needed time
off. Fab is now living back in his old apartment.”

One alleged reason for the separation is that Fabrizio doesn’t get on with
any of Drew’s friends and feels uncomfortable with her Hollywood lifestyle.

Another source said: “He’s younger, and she’s more worldly. He doesn’t like
the Hollywood stuff. He doesn’t get her friends.”

Ironically, Drew, 31, couldn’t stop gushing about her love for Fabrizio, 26,
in a recent interview.

Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar magazine, the ‘Charlie’s Angels’ star – who
started dating the handsome musician in April 2002 – said: “Right now I’m in
a phase of, ‘I’m not even your girlfriend. I’m your best friend who is madly
in love with you.’”

“The longest I’ve ever been with someone was like two to three years, so I’m
in uncharted waters. Right now I’m into championing him as a human being.”

Representatives for both stars have so far refused to comment on the split.
