Susan Sarandon Avoids Google

image

Susan Sarandon has never Googled herself.

The 'Thelma and Louise' actress is a technophobe and claims she wouldn't even know how to conduct a search for herself on the internet if she did use a computer.

She told the New York Post newspaper: "I wouldn't even know how to Google myself. I don't know how to touch a computer."

She added that reviews of her work, either bad or good, don't matter to her as she doesn't count them as "real".

She explained: "I don't want to know. Even stuff that's really good shouldn't get stuck in your head, because it's not real."

Susan is fronting a new campaign against cyber bullying, and thinks people need more awareness of internet 'Trolls' - people who dedicate time to abusing people on the web - and need to be dealt with.

She added: "Usually the people that have time to go online and sit there and be negative are such losers. But, of course, you can't understand that when you're a kid."

While she is not great with computers, liberal anti-war activist Susan claims her phone has previously been bugged by the government, after making two Freedom of Information Act requests.

She previously said: "We know we're under surveillance. I was denied a security clearance to go to the White House and I don't know why. Do you know why?"

Although Susan claims she has no idea why she is under surveillance by the government, her outspoken campaigning against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and her activism in political campaigns since the 1980s could be responsible.

Susan Sarandon Is The Moroccon MILF

Susan Sarandon & Harvey Keitel at the 10th Marrakech Film Festival in Marrakech, Morocco on December 8, 2010.

Style Bistro:

It's been nearly two decades since the release of Thelma & Louise, Ridley Scott's famous road film about two friends on the lam. Rumor has it that Vanity Fair will mark the film's 20th Anniversary with a Thelma & Louise spread, reuniting stars Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis.

The NY Post's Page Six reports that Sarandon and Davis were flown from New Jersey to Miami via private jet last week, where the shoot must have taken place. Sarandon was later spotted at several events for Art Basel, the largest art exposition in North America, and a celebration for her table tennis club SPiN Galactic in South Beach.

Susan Sarandon’s Youth Secret

Susan Sarandon can't understand why actors resort to wrinkle-freezing Botox injections to maintain their looks, because she still feels "sexy" without undergoing the treatment.

The 63-year-old actress refuses to follow the Hollywood trend, as she's happy with her image, and she feels it's unnatural for women to look decades younger than their real age.

She says, "I am sexy. I don't think you should try to look 22 when you are in your 60s. There is something odd about a woman who looks younger than she did 20 years ago. I'm not against anybody doing anything to themselves that makes them feel good, but aesthetically some fillers and stuff make people unrecognizable. I've never had fillers, and how can you get Botox when you're an actor?

"I had under my chin sucked out once. I think we have to be supportive of each other, and if someone wants to get implants or tucks you hope that they will be fine and they will keep the essence of who they are and not go over the top."

And Sarandon reveals her secret to good skin is kicking cigarettes and maintaining a happy personal life. She adds, "Young actors ask me: 'Why is your skin so great; what is your product?' and all I say is: 'Stop smoking, that's the big one.'

"Laughing does a lot for the face. Do the things you enjoy. Surround yourself with good people. Denying yourself is not good for the face. You can't be a bitter, angry person. Hatred is unsexy and not great for your skin."
