According to Page Six, Beyonce received a 1959 Rolls-Royce convertible reportedly worth $1 million for her 25th birthday. She was "speechless" after her boyfriend Jay-Z revealed the hefty gift at the Time Warner garage early yesterday morning.
Beyoncé Knowles insists she never fired her manager father Matthew.
The 'Crazy in Love' singer has slammed reports she grew tired of her father's single-mindedness and decided she was old enough to go it alone.
She explained to Britain's Independent Review magazine: "My dad was never fired. But it took him a while to realise I was getting older. It was when I turned 19, and I started saying 'no' to things.
"It took a second to adjust but if we hadn't gone through that phase, something would be wrong."
Beyoncé, 24, admits she has had some heated arguments with her father but insists they have since resolved their problems.
She added: "There were rows. Because I'm so passionate and he's so passionate. People think he tells me what to do but I'm a grown woman and he respects that. We always agree eventually.
"It just took time to figure out how to get the balance between father and daughter, manager and artist."
