Ashlee has also been nursing lover Pete Wentz back to health since he broke his ankle.
The Fall Out Boy rocker, who suffered the injury after jumping off a 10ft stack of speakers at the Voodoo Music Experience festival last month, admits he is a difficult patient but Ashlee is doing her best to make him comfortable.
Pete said: "When I'm being hard-headed and I don't want to elevate my leg, she says, 'No, put it on the pillow!'
"When I try to get in the shower by myself and am going to end up falling on the hotel room floor, she is good at stopping me."
The 28-year-old rocker also revealed he jumped at the chance to wear a black "rocker boot" until his ankle heals, but was soon left disappointed.
Pete added to People magazine: "Doctors said I could either wear a rocker boot for six weeks or a hard cast for three weeks.
"The rocker boot sounded really enticing, but I didn't realize that it does not rock at all."
Last month, Pete assured fans he won't be canceling any upcoming shows despite his injury.
Fall Out Boy are set to perform a series of dates across the US before finishing their tour on December 2 in Las Vegas.
They can't wait to put their dancing shoes back on.
