The baby does have a father figure in his life. Unfortunately it’s not a good one. However, I never had a father figure in my life and I don’t feel like any less of a person or that I ever missed anything. All of that “They need a father!!” stuff is complete bullshit. It’s all about how strong the parent you HAVE is. If she can make it through this bullshit, she can make it through anything with that baby.

I do feel bad for her. It’s gotta be unnerving. The media criticizes your every step, mothering your first child is out there for the world to see (all first time mothers screw up…but you never see it on camera), no, bless her heart, she can’t dress, her husband is a douchebag, and to top it all off, she’s pregnant again so her hormones are going insane.

For her sanity and childrens’ sake, I hope after this baby is born, she leaves Kevin and concentrates on her career. It obviously makes her happy.

After looking at her feet I kind of blame her shoes for this whole fiasco to begin with.  Four inch heels with too long pants covering her shoes is a disaster waiting to happen. 

The biggest thing I don’t understand is the fact that since she has been photographed from the time she was a kid - why does she have to subject that little innocent baby boy to the same bullshit?  He certainly didn’t ask to be thrown into the same papparazzi charged environment - I’m amazed he remains so calm and cool.  Where’s the “manny” we just saw holding the baby a couple of days ago?  At least he knew how to hold the baby correctly and SP seemed to be content there.

Wow if she’s out without the baby she’s wrong with the baby she’s wrong!!  I am a parent of an 11 year old girl did someone say she wasn’t a good role model.  No celebrity is fit to be a role model for my daughter but ME!!!!  She’s a new young mother, and it’s going to take time.  I wish people would give her a break.  I’m sure if you go around a table of young mother’s each and everyone has a story of something not so smart that they have done with their children.  I feel so sorry for her and I am so tired of people talking about her so much she hasn’t even had an album in like 5 years but if she drops one next week it will #1 because she’s always in the press.  And we all know real talent doesn’t sell sh_ _ ! I say live Brittany alone, she’s had some unfortunate moments as we all have had and will continue to have - we just don’t have 1,000 hungry photographers always on our backs.

everyday i go out and see people sporting a mullet and worse. regardless if i am a fan of hers or not, she is a human with feelings. it appears that she is waking up to the reality of the thing she married and trying to do the right thing. if you all want to portray her as the worst parent then you need a serious reality check. she is with her baby, she has good intentions and trying as best she can while basically alone. jsut because she has a paid staff does not mean she is not alone. thousands and thousands of women have babies and are very cruel telling them they want nothing to do with them and much worse. she may not be the best mom but certainly not the worst and has a good heart. i am nopt talking about a bad mom just because she gives her child up for adoption, but you might not believe how cruel some parents are. i see these kids and it infuriates me. give her a break, if you were followed constantly and then watched the video you might not believe all of the stupid things you did either. we all make mistakes every single day. again this has nothing to to with her being Ms. Spears, the same applies to all mothers. this country has become so arrogant. that brandon davis and paris hilton really make me sick, no one deserves to be spoke about like they did Ms. Lohan, NO ONE! i know this is a gossip comment section but with respect to spears and lohan the line has been crossed. now, try to be nice to eachother.

Things I have carried when wearing higher, skinnier heels than pig britney’s:

2) Puppies
3) Kittens
4) Bags of groceries(that I carried up two flights of steps, thank you)
5) cleaning supplies (and I cleaned in the shoes as well)
6)food, drinks, bags, etc

Nice outfit.  I’ll guarantee that her pig-nosed friend asked her to wear the bra.  I don’t see 4-inch heels on her (can’t tell since her pants are usually hiding most of her foot and dragged underneath. 

So - everyone should stop suggesting that she needs to hold her son or even be with him.  She needs to hand SPF over to Grandmother Lynne for awhile.  It’s best for him to be in the hands of someone else.

oh and PS now maybe she has a clue as to what Shar went through when Kevin Federswine was cheating and bein g a pig’s ass when she was preggers. Only Shar didn’t have the fans, the money and the entourage britney has to help her.

Well…. after watching the video it makes me wonder if she was one of the rude taunters that make fun of the geek or loner in school that the whole damn class made fun of, watched and scrutinized like mad?????  Maybe she was and this is her karma.  Too bad the kid has to be put through it.  She should dress better. it would certainly help. And I would do somethign totally dif with the hair and makeup. Considering how she grew up, in Louisiana, and being whisked around the US for her stage mother, I wouldn’t call her a “spoiled brat”, immature, more than likely, but not a spoiled brat. Chances are her mother doesn’t care what happens to the baby. Her daughter is famous and brings in plenty of money. It doesn’t matter to her.

She’s a celebrity, and INTENTIONALLY put herself and her family out in the open for all the world to see, criticize, inspect, ridicule, praise, and idolize.  She wants all the accolades of being a celebrity, but none of the flack.  Sorry, toots.  You can’t have it both ways.  And sorry the rest of you who think she should.

She’s the mother of that child, and as such, she’s responsible for his welfare.  New mother or not, her behavior is unacceptable.  She’s obviously had a lot of advice and criticism, yet refuses to heed any of it.  She is of the arrogant “know it all” types who doesn’t want to accept her faults and work on them.  The end result is the endangerment of her son, and her subsequent children.

She’s crying, not because of her son, but because she was once again proven to be inadequate as a parent, far more concerned with everything BUT the child.  She was embarrassed, nothing more.  Her embarrassment, coupled with her hormones from yet another mistake resulted in what we see as the blubbering mess that is Twitney.

She either needs to grow up and be a responsible parent, or grow up and be a responsible adult and allow someone else to raise those children.  Nothing good will come of this until she does.

i watched the video and i really don’t think its such a big deal for msn, fox news, and all other newscasts covering something so common.  there are bigger issues in the world than britney spears tripping with her baby.  people trip all the time…including britney spears. it seems like everyone has to have their own theory about what caused it and how fit of a mother she is.  she is obviously a loving and protective mother. sure she has made a few mistakes, but what new mother hasn’t?  its bc she is constantly hounded by the paparazzi that anybody cares.  i mean look at her just minding her business and all you see are flashes.  that has to be frustrating.  sure that comes with the territy of stardom, but they are just being invasive.  i would find it hard to believe that other celebrity mothers have not made similar mistakes.  celebrities or not, they are people and people make mistakes too.  its pretty sad that some of you have multiple posts on the same news story bashing someone you don’t know.  its time to evaluate your own life instead of hers.  she is famous for a reason and worked her ass off to make every penny she has so it doesnt really make sense to call her spoiled and say she should have her team teach her all this stuff.  who really cares who she marries or what she does with her life.  its her choice.

I feel bad for Brit. Thank God most of the rest of us didn’t have to enter the challenging world of motherhood under the bright lights and microscopic view of the media/public.

I’m torn. As far as the kid goes, I know how hard it is to be a mom and I know that no mother would gleam under a microscope. I thought the car seat thing was out of line not only because it wasn’t the safe way for tater tot to ride but also because he wasn’t properly strapped in. But now she trips with the baby and she’s getting ripped apart for something that has happened to every mom. I just fell with my kid last week. Lifted him out of a shopping cart and stepped wrong off a curb and twisted the hell out of my ankle. Thank God he didn’t get hurt. That doesn’t make me a bad mom. She has done stupid things but I don’t think tripping is one of them. Mothers love their babies and she is no different even though she’s stupid. Stupid women love their babies too.

As far as Kfed goes, well, she pursued a loser that had a baby and one on the way. There isn’t a bigger whoreish thing to do. Now she has a baby and one on the way and she sure seems like she’s realizing it wasn’t a great idea. She deserves whatever wrong he does her. She asked for it.

Anyhoo - I think she rushed into the K-fed thing not realizing how damaging it would be to her reputation in the future.  Honest mistake - except she’s a star and theyre not supposed to make mistakes.
I’m glad she is human and shows honest human actions and emotions - including regret.

I agree therealununya.  Tripping isn’t a sin, but ANYONE with any sense wouldn’t wear the longass pants that get caught UNDER her shoes, and shoes that are unstable, carry a glass, and a baby on cement/pavement trying to maneuver.  It take SIMPLE COMMON SENSE.

I also agree that BS deserves Kevin, and whatever is on its way for karma’s sake.

stsimons, was your comment about “complete dumbass” was about me? I was just saying she needed to relax cause too much stress can cause harm to the unborn baby. Anyone on here who is a mother have had their doctor or OB/GYN tell them to take it easy or too much stress could harm the baby. I was just being mindful of her well being, that’s all.

I’m sure if you go around a table of young mother’s each and everyone has a story of something not so smart that they have done with their children.

Okay this is true, but if one person has stories equaling or going past the sum of those sitting at that table, then it’s an issue. So far we have about five or six incidents concerning Brit and her negligence. At this point, one has just say what most sensible people are thinking: WTF?

no sweetmisses - Your post wasn’t the one that I was commenting on…it was LauraF’s.  I do agree that any stress on a woman while pregnant is NOT good for the baby. 

Britney HERSELF was largely to blame for the definite stress caused to another female named Shar while SHE was pregnant, so this might be the beginning of Karma hitting Britney back.

In Britney’s case, it would best for her to stay HOME with her 1st baby (be a MOTHER), read/listen to parenting books/tapes and REST - instead of desperately trying to stay relevant and in the scene.

And if I hear ONE more time that Britney is a good mother….uuuuuuuugh.  A selfish child is never a good mother, and that’s exactly what Britney is.  I’m not saying that she doesn’t love SPF - of couse she does - he’s the only thing she has right now, and she had a tremendous void.  Unfortunately, she has caused every bit of angst in her life by being immature, dumb and selfish.  You would think a mature woman would read/know every safety issue concerning her baby. 

When (not IF) something more serious happens to this baby - I hope some of you can come up with yet another excuse.  I’m not being negative, nor is it ME that has the issues - I’m looking objectively at the situation and am scared of the outcome for BS and her babies.
