Babies should be rear facing at the minimum until one year old and twenty pounds. It should be longer actually. But one year AND 20 pounds minimum. How can she be so stupid?

OMG!  Helloo.. the baby fell asleep that’s why his head is tilted like that.  I am a mother and my child often falls asleep in the back seat.. as soon as i get home i put her in bed.  That doesnt mean she is a bad mother.  At least we see Britney with Sean most of the time, unlike other celebrity moms who we never see with their kids.

No, you guys are incorrect. He isn’t strapped in properly, his straps are much too loose. Yes babies slump when they sleep but not from the torso. His shoulders should be pressed back against the seat with the straps. Too loose straps equals baby flying out of his seat in an accident. Only his head should be slumping. Also, he shouldn’t be riding front facing, period.
It has nothing to do with weight. It is all about skeletal structure. Weight has nothing to do with skeletal structure. He has the bones and spinal cord of an eight month old, regardless of how much he weighs.
This is just facts. Ignorance is not an excuse. She is endangering her child. There is no other way to interpret it. Her pediatrician told her the right way to do it, car safety is one of the things that new parents are lectured on by everyone from the nurse at the hospital to the doctor at the checkups. She chose to ignore them.
