She looks a hell of alot better than most people four months after birth…..So, she went to the beach with baby and was in cut off shorts, big deal…..Shes hot!  She looks happy and shes not with the sperm donor….Leave her alone.  And who are you kidding - that baby is adorable!

I’m guessing Britney is pregnant again. It’s been 6 months -plenty of time to get that weight off.  Her and Katie Holmes are looking more alike everyday.

In responst to lovey101….....I think she’s taking a NORMAL person route and doing it like the everyday person….hard work and diet & exercise….THIS IS WHY I GIVE HER PROPS!  Even though she has MILLIONS and can HIRE(not higher) whomever she wants…..she doesn’t - She’s concentrating on her baby and living as NORMAL as a life as she can.  I don’t think she looks like sh*t. I agree w/ you on not everyone having to look perfect, but the problem is—she let’s herself be portrayed looking great - even when they have to use OLD digitized pictures - when she doesn’t look that great in real life.  THAT is being fake.

She HAD to look GREAT….that is her JOB…..HOLLYWOOD is PLASTIC.  Was she suppose to go and do a photo shoot looking all average EVERYDAY…....nah.  We all should know by now that REAL LIFE is way different than the glamourized photos we see in magazines.

90% of the people who come on this website are nothing but one BIG contradiction of themselves. When you see a great photo of someone you always say “Oh, well that must be a retouched photo”, but when you see someone looking AVERAGE and being NORMAL, then it’s “Oh, they look horrible, and they need to get their act together”. It’s ridiculous! I’m sorry, but I know that when I go to the beach, I don’t put on full make-up and curl my hair so I can go ruin all my efforts with sweat and salt water. I also know that learning from mistakes involves making the mistake, and then correcting it (tanning). You bitch that she has a nanny, but when she is taking care of the baby herself, you bitch because she has her hair up in a ponytail and wears jeans and a t-shirt.  It would be different if you people actually lived up to the expectations you put on other people, but you don’t.

Well said, britt.  She looks great, normal, average, whatever.  Anyone who thinks she NATURALLY looked hot, forgets about filters on lenses, light techs, PROFESSIONAL photographers and videographers, layers of make-up and stylists.  Don’t forget retouching.  That’s why I love these candid pics of celebs.  It shows them as they really are, good or bad.  We ALL have bad days, and pics of ourselves we hate.  Unless you are all she/he-bots.  Oh and don’t forget out of every 100 professional pictures of a celeb, only a handful ever make the cut for consideration on lay-outs.

Britney was always over-digitized and over-marketed.  I do like the fact that she seems comfortable w/ being a normal-looking person, but for years she has pushed it into everyones face what a ‘sex symbol’ she is. 

I’m glad she’s being knocked to the level she deserves.  She can’t help her looks (without the help of major makeup jobs), but her lack of HYGIENE, CLASS, & TASTE is what Britney is trashed for. 

I too am glad she doesn’t SEEM to care what anyone thinks, but using those OLD (pre-baby) pics in People says that she does.

I think she is trying to look ok and trying to show that she is happy in her life at this point but i think it all shows up in her apperance she looks terrible i dont think she will ever be the Brit she once was. i think she has given up and doesnt feel like trying anymore.I think she looks gross and fat

It’s a shame when someone peaks at 17 (physically as well as careerwise).  It’s over for her, that’s all there is to it.  She needs to just fade away so she won’t have to deal with the paparazzi and, more importantly, I won’t have to look at her. Sometimes I feel like the only reason she stays in the limelight is to get that freeloading husband’s career off the ground.

She didn’t JUST have a baby.  It wasn’t last month, it was 6 months ago. Britney has ALWAYS had weight issues - she was HUGE in Hawaii w/ Justin Timberlake (probably 15-10 lbs heavier than now). 

I DO admire that Spears isn’t taking the route of some Hollywood girls in endangering her life to be rail thin, but she WAS popping plenty of diet pills and doing cocaine to lose the weight back in 2001-2003.  Eventually, those didn’t mix well w/ her anti-depressants, so then she turned to cigarette smoking to control her hunger - now she has the pot-smoking munchies gain.  All of this is public knowledge among her dancer group (who did cocaine w/ her on a regular basis).

Ok I dont think she looks fat or discusting. The only reason yall think that is because all yall see in celebritys is being thin,beautful and perfect well to bad they aren’t! Ok she looks like a normal mom having fun with her newborn and duh she has that thing because she doesnt want her baby to fry! she has a nanny so she can actually go out in the water and have some fun she cant trust kevin to wathch it. I am totally not trying to compare Britney to Madonna…BUT ...Madonna totally reinvented herself over and over, so I would say Britney has a total chance to do that.  Sure the poptart image should fade away, but she could do anything at this point.  Many many many celebs have kids, that should not affect her career like you say.  And for god’s sake, she is not too old…get a grip.  Are you 15?  Of course 20 something looks old to you.

At her AGE, INCOME, etc - she SHOULD look better.  She has let herself go, but the thick neck, man back, and other non-feminine features can’t really be helped w/ diet or exercise.  That’s just genetics. I hate to argue back and forth, but you can’t honestly believe Britney looks 40, or 45?????  She looks younger then her 24 and some years, in my opinion.  In average America, 65% of women are overweight, that means that more than half of women 18+, are fat!  Sure, she has gained weight…not too many people have the same body at 25, as they did at 16 or 17…even if you don’t gain a whack load of weight, your body changes, add in having a kid…she looks a hell of a lot better then the women I know her age.

He is, hands down, the cutest baby boy I have ever seen.

Most men do NOT want a stick figure like Paris.  She’s very unappealing.  Men usually like women w/ some substance, but NOT including back fat.  I know many women in their 40s who look far better than Britney at 24…both in their face and the shape of their bodies - and they aren’t models.  She was letting herself go before the baby - there are pics to prove it.

The little bit of baby weight she’s carrying is inconsequential. A little training and she’ll be back in fighting form. If someone can get as massively, piggishly fat, as Janet Jackson has several times, and then get it off in a few months with intense training, I think Britney’s 20 or so pounds won’t be a problem.

She won’t be able to do the teen poptart thing anymore, that’s probably true. I think she’ll go right for the dance music, club music arena. There’s some room for her there. That’s where her original audience is at now. They were what, 13 when she first came out, now they’re 18, 19? Old enough to go out dancing.
