Could former Baywatch babe Carmen Electra, 33 split up with her rocker hubby Dave Navarro? A source tells Life & Style that their problems have been going on for quite some time.

"Dave and Carmen are definitely headed for a separation," says the friend. "They’ve been having issues for a while now. They’re living separate lives."

"Carmen works very hard, sometimes seven days a week, and she’s on the road a lot,” says a source close to the couple.

Her rep denies the split.

Dave Navarro's response to the rumors:

"The truth is, we definitely work quite a bit," he says. "Our work takes us away from home quite a bit. She goes overseas, and there are times when I’m away from her. It sucks, I will say that." National Ledger

At recent events, including the Oscar after party Carmen was without her husband and she said that he didn't come because he doesn't like parties.

Carmen reminds me of a naughty Catherine Zeta-Jones. She prolly got tired of Dave N. spending more time grooming his face than she does.

I love Carmen and Dave. I think they’re both attractive people, and would date either of them. I love them as a couple and watched their show on MTV. I really want them to last and hope they’re happy.

I agree that he spends more time putting on make up than she does. Not to mention having to pain his nails. I think she can do much better and don’t understand the women that want a man covered in tattoos, wears make up, and has to paint his nails. Just don’t get it.

At least there won’t be children caught in the middle if they do go their separate ways.
What I can never figure out are all the celebrity marriages that fail because of time spent apart working. Surely they could organise their work commitments so that they could travel with each other? It’s not as if they’re desperate for cash and need the work to stop them from starving. And by “they” I don’t mean Carmen & Dave, I mean all celebrity couples.

aww sounds like there is a strain there. At least he’s not denying it like its prepostrous, only to announce a split weeks later.

I hope they work it out because I think they really work well together. It seems like sometimes in Hollywood you have to give up on the career to make the family work.

Sounds like Nick & Jess to me! Perfect couple so everybody thinks…you just never know! I hope it’s not true though, I think they’re adorable!
