Meanwhile, Beyonce stars in her ads with her mother for the House of Dereon collection.

Ahhh, ummm, is she attractive? I can’t decide?  For some reason she scares me!?!

Does Jamie want us to get laughed at…us normal everyday people can’t wear crap like that…But I really happy that she got one of the Williams’s sisters for her adds….same with Beyonce’s clothes….except for the jeans (last pic)...I am feeling the jeans…

Not only does Jaime look awful, so do her designs.  Those clothes are terrible!  And Beyonce’s ads with her mother just scream creepy, but at least she has some fashion sense.  Her mother is also very pretty.

Kayla, I agree with you about Jamie’s looks. Is anyone else disgusted by the fact that now celebs get a free pass at being fashion designers, when there are people with actual raw talent out there who deserve it? The sad thing is, the people who deserve to be fashion designers are going to have a tougher time making it and their talent won’t be known because of these stupid celebs trying their hand at designing? I refuse to buy any celeb designed clothes based on that principle.

When I saw the Pressly layout, I was gonna say “Well, at least it’s not as bad as House of Dereon.”  And then I scrolled down.  Please, please, somebody stop these women.

oh, and the house of dereon print ads strongly resemble those of anthropologie, right down to the vintage sofa and wall paper

Ugh, Jamie Pressley’s photo shoot is god-awful. I could’ve set up something better in high school.

The clothes are pretty awful too…nothing remotely interesting about them. i agree w/ Therealnunya and JaniceDickenson—when do they show up at KMart or Kohls? And it super sux that stuff like this is getting produced over those who have real design talent.

At least Beyonce is rich enough to hire amazing photographers, art directors/designers. At least her stuff looks like it could sell at Saks or something.

What’s the look Jamie is going for? Street walker? I predict this line is a bomb because MOST of America can’t and/or won’t wear that type of clothing.

I saw Jaime yesterday on the View - the clothes on the models looked “wearable”.  I think they chose to slut them up for the ads. I don’t like the way Jaime looks in the ads either but on the View she looked pretty cute.

I agree with the other poster about the Beyonce ads; it does look alot like Anthropolgie.  Stop copying!

what is funny we make fun of how slutty jamie’s clothes may be but some of us would be the first to wear them   out to the clubs. and the men would be the first to check them out. i personally would not wear either of the designs from jamie or beyonce but i would pick jamie over beyonce. would rather look like a ho in her clothes then in beyonces where there is NO talent what so ever.

How come people always say beyonce is a role model for young girls?  Does no one realize that she is just as slutty and dresses as skankily clad as the next hollywood bimbo?

Jamie is a true hottie. But those clothes look like old, torn t-shirts. And, as much as I dis-like Beyonce’s mom, the clothing line looks pretty good. I like her style.

beyonce looks gorgeous and for once the clothes from her mom’s line don’t look like a bedazzler threw up a rummage sale. love the peach and white slip dress, but i’m not feeling the shorty-short and cut-up jacket combo. way too much shit going on in that outfit.

I like that Beyonce has her mom in the ads, I find it sweet that they can have a venture together. Generally I think JP is attractive, but this stuff looks outdated & tasteless.

The model cheapprops referred to as one of the williams sisters is actually the best thing about Jamie Presslys ad. She looks amazing in the grey dress..and NOWHERE near a Williams sister.

what has Jaime done since that Felicity show, no wait, it was something else with a goofy name like that, Jill and Jack or Jack and Jill…..I’m getting a headache.. In any case all I remember is that she played a dancer. 
Also, age (or crack) has not been kind to her face.
The look in these ads reminds me of the streetwalker outfits Julia wore in Pretty Woman.

yes it was jack and jill with amanda peet i actually liked that show but i was in highschool then. she played skanky dancer yes. in those pics she looks like trash version of michelle pfeiffer. i wouldnt actually wear those autfits im not really into 80s hehe. as for beyonce her clothes look ok i guess but arent really wearable well not for me anyway. and yes ads look creepish with her mom in it. and pics are too dark & too depressing, especially with that old furniture blah.

I love the Beyonce/Mom ads. They are both strikingly beautiful. I wonder if that is the grandmother in the framed photo in the last shot.

The Pressly collection only a toothpick could get away with wearing. You would have to be a size -6 to wear that stuff. Plus, its hideous.

It’s just what fashion needs!  an overpriced white trash line of clothing.

Beyonce is looking MUCH better now that she has lost weight. Before she was definitely looking too thick for her age.
