Nicole Richie adds length to her short do with new extensions at Teddy's Nightclub in Hollywood on Saturday (03.25.06).



Richie blames her past drug addictions on having a happy childhood. The star - who has previously claimed to have gone through hell growing up - now says it was being spoilt by her adoptive dad Lionel Richie that pushed her over the edge.

She revealed: "I had a pretty fun childhood, but I just wanted to feel nothing. It wasn't that it was horrible and I wanted to feel better. I just didn't want to feel anything."

"Doing drugs kind of made me just forget and not feel anything, for a second. I think it's a combination of things. Partly just me wanting to be older - it's what the older kids were doing at the time."

But the 'Simple Life' star doesn't think being brought up in Hollywood is an excuse for her experimenting with narcotics in her teens. Nicole confessed to Tatler magazine: "I could easily say yes it was, but people also have drug problems in Kansas.

"So I don't know whether, if I had lived somewhere else, it would have been a problem. I'd say it probably would have been, not matter where I grew up."

She looks cute with long hair but i think i might prefer the short on her.

I think she looks good with longer hair…and when she’s covered up so you can’t see her bones.

It’s definitely obvious that they’re extensions. I know people who get their weaves done in their kitchen that look better than hers.

i know this guy who can do hair like i don’t know what. I swear he could do hair for celebrities. Nicole….her weave could’ve looked a little better, but oh well.

This is a mean thing to say I know, and I’m actually not a mean perosn, but I really couldn’t care less if she dropped dead.

Alright, I feel bad because I really used to like her on Simple Life cuz she was crazy and said stupid things and actaully made Paris look smart sometimes, but it drives me crazy when people say she looks so much better now. Seriously, she looks like a toddler. Not even kidding. I’m sick of hearing “I just got out of rehab and I gained a lot of weight there” or “I’m really short and I could lose ten pounds and it just looks like a lot” or “I’m naturally this skinny, people just never saw me before Simple Life”. Sorry Nicole, but I’ve seen pictures of you before SL and unless you were on drugs since birth, you’ve never been that small.

I look at the reruns of the Simple Life that they show on E! and it makes me so sad how pretty and funny she used to be. Now she tries to act like she’s little miss mature because she wears prettier clothes and weighs less than my thigh. I hate to say it, but Paris made her popular. She wasn’t even supposed to be on SL, it was supposed to be Nicky Hilton until she dropped out. Sometimes I just want to grab her and scream “You’re not ‘classy’, you’re not famous, you’re known for being an idiot with a girl you’re not even friends with anymore.”

I hate to say it but she was trash. She threw bleach on pool tables, cursed in front of kids (which she apparently still hasn’t got out of her system) and talked about getting laid way too much. She’s not a role model, she’s not a fashionista, she’s someone who thinks she’s more important than she is.

I’m not sure if we’re supposed to feel sorry for her cause she was addicted to drugs in the past or more so now because she weighs only 85 pounds. I think if she weren’t doing all this shit purposefully so people would pay attention to her, think she looks good, is important, is a fashionista, etc, then I’d probably think she was a “sweet girl”, but she’s not , she’s dumb, vain and really a mess of a person. If she thinks looking like a scarecrow lollipop headed 11 year old boy is healthy and even sane, then she’s nuts. Also, i believe in a heartbeat that she had sex with Jason Mewes while on cocaine, heroin and ectasy, absolutely, it’s such a her move.
