Do you guys remember Jodie Sweetin aka Stephanie Tanner from Full House?

Apparently two years ago she got hooked on Meth because she was bored and jobless!

ABC news:

But two years ago, she found herself dangerously addicted to one of the most debilitating drugs, methamphetamine. She said she was unemployed and bored and began simply by experimenting. Soon, she was using meth everyday.

"There is a certain sense of loss when a series ends," she said. "It is kind of hard to figure out who you are when you've lost your job at age 13, when that was basically how you identified yourself."

Sweetin said she checked herself in to the Promises drug rehab facility where she went underwent six weeks of intense treatment. She realized that she "was living a total double life," she said. "I was married to a police officer — we are going through a divorce right now — he had no idea."

Sweetin has been clean and sober since March of last year and now wants to get back into acting.

"I want to make movies, TV series, wherever the career takes me," she said. "I really hope this isn't the last people hear of me. In fact, I would like to make this a footnote in my career, not the end."

In all seriousness, it must really suck to be a child actor.  It’s rare to hear of any child actor who has grown up and experienced something like that.

I can’t believe her husband, who is a cop, did not realize she was doin meth everyday! What an idiot!

I don’t think that being “bored” and not having a job at 13 is a reason to take up meth. Gimmie a break. Women go through sexual, physical and mental abuse everyday and they never start doing drugs and their situation is a lot worse than hers. She’s a whiny bitch.

Rumor was Bob Saget couldn’t stand her for some reason, probably the only one with guts to tell him he wasn’t funny. I’m sure there is at least some goofy ass reality work out there for her somewhere, it’s the only thing keeping Dave Coulier alive nowadays.

I think her sister is a succesful child star too..so that must REALLY suck.

Just another reason why children shouldnt be allowed to work as adults in such a surreal industry.  On the upside Candace Cameron looks amazing, even better than she did as a kid, and she’s married with kids..seems relatively normal. Her & Kurt got serious in their spiritual growth & I think that really helped them post-fame.

Lots of people trade in addictions for religion.  It becomes a more socially-acceptable form of addiction.  Just look at whatshisname, that guy, oh f*ck…Steven Baldwin! The one saving the world from porn because God is telling him to do it.  You’ve really gotta watch those churchy types because they have the most to hide.

I think Jodi look awesome now. She’s really blossomed from cute kid to pretty woman. I think that’s awesome. I’m glad that she got her life on track again.
