Studio insiders are worried that the upcoming $125 million movie 'The Da Vinci Code' will turn movie goers off because of Tom Hanks hair do. His makeover was an attempt to look intelligent for the film, but his new look caused a stir during the movie trailer.
Honestly, is his hair really a reason for concern? We all know he isn't a spring chicken anymore, but what more can you do with his head of hair? He definatley has changed, but it's not just his hair.

whoa, that is seriously bad hair!
i love Tom Hanks, but i really don’t like this casting. i think he’s too old and not dahsin enough to be the main character. i picture a more daniel day lewis type of guy than my uncle charlie (which is who Tom looks like now).

Uh…I think he looks completely right for the part of Robert Langdon. Anyone who’s read the book should know he’s not some sex symbol. It will be fine.

looks like the hair is sliding off the back of the head….I keep touching the screen to try to push it up….

In the beginning I hear Nicolas Cage was going to play Langdon and I was excited because I thought he was really good in National Treasure. Needless to say, I was kinda disappointed when they picked Tom Hanks. I love him but I don’t think he fits the part.

Tom Hanks gives spectacular a performance, so Im sure he will be fine in the role…But I read the book, and he doesn’t fit the discription of Robert Langdon; they described him as a harrison Ford type. The woman in the movie also doesn;t fit the description…The book describes a pretty red head with green eyes…In the movie it’s a pretty brunnette so go figure. I can’t wait for this movie to come out

Tom Hanks is the type of actor that you can’t criticize….he’s tom hanks! Plus he’s not young anymore and a damn good actor. Whatever role he takes, i trust that it will be good.

Who the hell cares about the hair!! I personally think it looks fine. I can’t wait to see this movie and he’s a great actor, so he’ll pull off the Robert Langdon character nicely.

oh who really cares. I have a hard time believing people will not see the movie based on Tom Hanks’ hair-do. People respect the man because he is an ACTOR, not a celebrity.
