The National Enquirer has obtained an explosive and shocking racist rant spewed by Duane Dog Chapman.



The Enquirer says they have two tapes of the Dog hurling insults at his Tucker during an undated telephone conversation. It appears as if the Dog is concerned that Tucker's girlfriend Monique Shinnery, who is black, will set him up because of the language the Dog uses.

In the nearly 8-minute tape, Dog says the N word numerous times and demands that Tucker break up with Monique or he'll be fired from the family bail bond business.



As a result, A&E issued the following statement to TMZ: "A&E has just learned of the story released by the National Enquirer concerning Duane Dog Chapman.

We take this matter very seriously. Pending an investigation, we have suspended production on the series. When the inquiry is concluded we will take appropriate action."

Pastor Tim Storey, an African-American, told us that he spoke with Dog, who cried for 30 minutes, saying "I'm shocked, I'm wrong I repent. Can you believe, Tim, that I'm going to be put in the same category as Imus."

Listen, i think its discusting how people are out to ruin the dogs life because of words that he said. Free speech my dears. People can say whatever they want. I am offended by the bigotry that jesse jackson or al sharpton or how about the racist black panthers say. YET, they are allowed to do or say what they want because they are black and can can get away with anything they want to say. I dont think the dog is a racist. I am sick and tired of this political correctness b.s. Okay, its not a good word to use but people taht say it, i dont feel use it to describe the whole black race. I have a brother-in-law who is one of those ignorant people that say “there is a difference between black people and n******.” I have heard it said many times before by people trying to justify their use of the word, so I am not surprised that Dog said it when he didn’t realize he was being recorded. I really hate it when white people say “Well, I get called a cracker or a honkey and I don’t get all bent out of shape.” Be honest, please!! “Cracker” and “honkey” don’t really hurt them because it has no impact on their lives, their history, their self-esteem, or their opportunities in this society! There IS NO EQUIVALENT to the “N” word. The “N” word has 400 years of history behind it, 400 years that have shaped its impact and connotation in the U.S.

Hey snikki snarky, go ahead and call me a liar then.  I also never drank in high school, have never cheated in a relationship, and have never used (even momentarily) any kind of illegal drug. 

It’s amazing to me how few people are willing to believe those four things - they look at their own behavior and rather than feeling remorseful or ashamed for their behavior, they start yelling, “Oh, you’ve done it too, and if you say you haven’t then you’re a liar!” or my favorite, “oh, what a prissy goody-two-shoes, you must not have a life at all.”  No, some of us just choose not to behave in certain ways. 

But it’s so much easier for you, isn’t it?, to ascribe abusive and offensive language to “part of life for everyone” than to face the fact that it’s indicative of a lack of character and basic human decency.

I will never have to worry about anyone catching me say something like that, or explaining how it was the alcohol talking, because I simply don’t use those words.  Ever.  (Remember when you hear people blame stuff on the alcohol: What comes out when you’re drunk is only what you keep leashed up when you’re sober.)

And frankly, I find the replacement of the N with a W - to direct the slur at a white person - every bit as offensive as the original. 

A (black) friend of mine is equally uncomfortable with the phrase “white trash,” and I think she’s got a point.  Why the need for a color indicator? Trash is trash, no matter what color.  Adding a person’s skin color or national/ethnic heritage into the mix - something that the person has zero control over, unless we count Michael Jackson - dilutes and weakens the insult, because it shows that the insulter lacks enough intelligence or imagination to see beyond the color of the skin of the insultee.  There is never a need to bring a person’s skin color or heritage into an insult, unless you are racist and the person offends you because of his/her existence.

This tape shows Dog for the racist that he is, and anyone would be an idiot not to see it.

He’s trying to apologize and say that he doesn’t like this girl because of her character not because of her race….but than why the need to say “If Lisa was dating a nigger than we’d all say fuck you”? Or does he already know the character of this hypothetical black man?

And he’s trying to cover his ass by saying that he was just angry with his son..BULLSHIT! The whole conversation was centered around the fact that he regularly uses that word.

And why do people always feel the need to bring up someone “getting away” with some kind of stupid behavior?  Why would you want to get away with that?  If some dumb, moron, fool wants to act like a jackass then let ‘em - why should I feel the need to join in and then point a finger and whine about why I was brought out on the carpet and they weren’t?  Didn’t we have these dicussion way back in the 3rd grade “Well Johnny started it!”

Snsnikki snarky - maybe the girl is a “bitch” and maybe the son is a piece of crap - we’ll never know - but we do know that Dog is a racist “bitch” piece of crap that completley demostrating “double think” in his retard conversation with his son.  See - what many people are missing is the fact that there would have been no racist commentary to record if Dog hadn’t been ranting about it in the first place.  So no matter who recorded what, where, when and how - those words came out of Dog’s mouth from his brain - no one else.  I can’t bemoan being caught stealing on a surveliance camera if I’m in the store stealing in the first place anymore than Dog can bemoan the fact that his racism has been exposed…even though he’s callin’ made-up Black people niggers…but that’s not what he truly mean..whatever!

The N word is synonmous with a very dark past in the US history.  KKK and persecution of blacks was indeed a sad chapter. 

And yes, there are hate groups still in existence.

Well I just hope he really is sincere about being sorry and repenting -‘cuz I really liked his show and it did seem like he wanted people to change and come off a the street/drug lifestyle.  I would seriously hate to think it was ALL just an act for the show.

I totally agree and it just looks and sounds just as bad as the original word. I also hate the term “white trash” because of how people saw ones who lived in trailers unworthy of society. At least they have a place to stay, and i don’t see how trash could have a color. Color will always stand out no matter if it’s on tape, video, or in person it will never go away and that’s sad.

Ok, I am all for freedom of speech. But I am also all for responsibility. If you are going to say something, even a word that might hurt someone else, or has a insulting meaning, you better be prepared to take the consequences of it. Especially if you are famous.

it appears to me that we dont have a problem with racism in this country anymore. we have a problem with racists. all the opportunities for minorities are out there, in fact maybe more then caucasions. there are special programs for just about any ethnic origin (which honestly i think is a little segratory, but thats a different rant).
But, people like this, who are outright and blatently racist are the problem we need to get rid of. yes, i feel he should be taken off the air, i felt what Imus said was a little silly to be taken so much as racist, ive called people nappy-headed before and it has never been deemed as racist.

BTW - I think “Tucker” might be Leland - cuz in an AP (I think) vid clip about this - they do “zero in” still shot of Leland while he was standing next to his father.  I only know of two sons that work (on camera, that is) with Dog - Leland of course, being one of them.

Crissy—I was guessing that maybe Tucker was working with him more recently, and perhaps going to be shown on the new season.

But I also found on wikipedia that Tucker was serving 20 years on a drug charge starting in 2002 and got out in 2006. Doesn’t exactly sound like someone who should be working in the bail/bounty hunting business if you ask me.

Okay, I’m embarrassed to know this, but Leland is already married to a local girl in Hawaii and they have kids. Tucker is the kid who did jail time for ice.

I find it sooo hilarious when white people say “I love black people…” because it seems that its always followed with a “but” or some sort of defense. Why the need to justify?  And how do you even know you love black people - you’ve met all of us, have you? Tell me, what is it that you love about black people?  That’s an incredibly ignorant thing to say. Based on the fact that you even said it, I highly doubt you will ever possess the tolerance to see the ignorance in your statement!

And to people who get pissed when black people get worked up over stuff like this let me say this, unless you are black you will never understand the hurt that racist rants like this create - no RECREATE! That word has the blood, sweat, and tears of our ancestors attached to it. True, the definition according to our friend Webster may read one thing, but let’s face it - that word is only used in association with black people.  Do not try to justify the word by giving me the correct meaning - what?  Did you think I would never look it up for myself?

Further, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson don’t get away with saying “whatever they want just because their black..”  That is the stupidest thing I’ve ever read! Nobody is “getting away” with anything. Again, there is so much pain associated with that word, you can’t even compare it to “evil white folk” and it would be absurd to try.

This is amazing that A&E;would just pull the plug.
