Angelina Jolie has thanked the people of India for making her feel welcome.

The 'Tomb Raider' star, her partner Brad Pitt and their children - five-year-old Maddox, 18-month-old Zahara and baby Shiloh Nouvel - were in the country filming new movie 'A Mighty Heart'.

Angelina said in a statement: "We deeply appreciate the warm welcome we have received from the people of Pune, India.

"We are excited to have this chance for our children to learn about India's wonderful culture and history."




However, the couple’s trip was marred when a group of journalists stormed a rickshaw Angelina, Brad and Maddox were riding in on Sunday (10.08.06).

The family were forced to turn back, abandoning their shopping trip and go back to their hotels.

'A Mighty Heart' is about Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl who was murdered by Islamic extremists in Pakistan in 2002.

It was due to be filmed in Pakistan but the location had to be changed due to security concerns.

Disappointed Angelina said: "I had hoped to make this film in Pakistan, but after discussions with Pakistani officials it became clear that they would be more comfortable for us to film in India.

"We look forward to visiting Pakistan soon."

They’re like a bad virus that just won’t go away!

in that last photo brad looks soooo much like justin timberlake!angelina is so amazing but brad is way too cheasy for her.

I love them both. People need to stop hating on them. They can’t help it if their both beautiful individuals.

It’s a good change to c a couple of celebrities try to take attention by dealing with serious matters instead of being naked and showing their bodies hear and there and using drug and being drunken and doing shocking hits to be in spot light. I do have a lot of respect for them. Though I don’t take Brad that serious, I think it’s just Angie leading him and he try to do everything she wants to be her man. Poor guy! I’ve never seen him so desperately in love!

I know I’m in the minority, but I love these guys too.  Brad just loves being a family man even if he does look “whipped” by Angie baby.  In other photos of the same, like above, he is holding hands with Maddox which I thought was sweet (of course the poor little shit was probably scared with all the photogs). 

Thank God Angelina will be staring in this film as at least she has the acting chops for the role of Marianne Pearl, as opposed to Chinaston who originally was thought to have been starring in it prior to the their breakup (as her big break out role - yeah, right).

As for their burly bodyguard - someone needs to take a hold of HIS neck and give it a chokehold.  That was uncalled for with what he did to that English photographer…totally uncalled for.

Brad is so brainwashed. I wish their kids the best; but, I don’t see them as The Brady Bunch. Not quite as pure and wholesome as they seem… work it out for the children’s sake; give Angie her meds and everything might work!

Usually I really like them, even whipped Brad, but she wants to take three little kids into Pakistan? Why? For her own amusement? Really good decision making skills there. Maybe you could keep the kids safe and buy them a book about Pakistan? She still has some growing up to do.

I just feel bad for the kids…..they are schlepped everywhere into different time zones, and are never in one place more than a few weeks.  Kids NEED routine and stability to grow up secure.  Then again, Angelina doesn’t know much about being a secure person…...

I know their parents love them with all their heart, but stop dragging them everywhere…

I would be really pissed to if i was on my way to go shopping and i got stalked by some photographers.

I don’t have anything “against” Angie….I think she’s gorgeous, sexy, smart and good hearted.

When I say she doesn’t know about security, I am referring to her life until her mid 20-s….she was a cutter, did drugs and slept with some weirdos…..she has talked about being a psychological mess in the past.  She has grown and matured and it’s great….but I still think dragging the kids all over the world all the time is a mistake.

While I think Brad was looking for the ready made family, I think Holie wanted kids for nothing more than show toys.  The oldest has no where near any sort of a normal life and never will. He will be carted around so people can see him. She’s a low-life and that’s the best thing I can say about her.

I don’t think much of BP, I like Johnny Depp better.  But, AJ I truly Love!  She is a beautiful person, and I don’t care what any of you ugly people say!  Perhaps, your all jealous cause your tooooooooo ugly to even stand next to her.  And, I just know I’m right!  She’s just exotically, gorgeously beautiful, and she doesn’t have to prove this to anyone.  She is a MAJOR STAR, AND IT SEEMS LIKE THERE ARE WAY TOOOOOOOOO MANY JEALOUS PEOPLE OF HER OUT THERE. She’s a good person, and she has a huge heart.  And, of course, she was wild in her earlier years, but I’m sure all of you were too.  And all of you know I’m right!!!!  People change, especially as you get older.  She has changed and right now, because of her big heart, she is doing just GREAT!  And, thats what its all about in life.  To be able to think of others and not yourself, and she sure as hell isn’t.  She is paid quite a bit of money, and she also donates quite a bit of money to the poor.  Its like all of you are living in the past; GROW UP AND START HELPING OTHERS, BECAUSE THAT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO.  PLUS IT WILL MAKE YOU FEEL ALOT BETTER AS A HUMAN BEING.  THINK OF WHAT IT MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE WHEN ALL YOU EVER DO IS SPEAK BADLY OF OTHERS.  I’M SURE ALL OF YOU WOULDN’T LIKE IT IF EVERYONE WAS SPEAKING BADLY OF ALL OF YOU.  WOULD YOU?  AJ HAS CHANGED, AND SHE HAS BECOME A WONDERFUL MOTHER TO THESE 3 CHILDREN.  WHETHER BP STAYS WITH HER OR NOT, IT DOESN’T MATTER, BECAUSE SHE WILL CONTINUE BEING THIS SAME PERSON THAT SHE HAS MADE OF HERSELF.  PLEASE STOP THE JEALOUSY!  YOU’LL NEVER ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING WITH IT!  SHE MAY HAVE HER FAULTS, BUT LISTEN ALL OF YOU, WE ALL HAVE OUR FAULTS!  AND ALL OF YOU KNOW WHAT I’M TALKING ABOUT!  YA THINK!!

One more thing, I called you all UGLY because as long as you go around bad mouthing anyone, then that just makes me think that your all soooooo extremely jealous, and that will make all of you ugly.  Especially some of the things you say about her.  She has done nothing to hurt any of you.  She is out there trying to do good, and here’s all of you badmouthing her immensely.  It has made me mad, and I hate reading it.  Also, you can continue saying awful things about her, but she will always PREVAIL!  And all of you know this!!!!!
