The actress revealed her plans to one of the child stars of
'Slumdog Millionaire' - which is set in the poorest areas of Mumbai - when
she met him at last month's Oscars.

When asked by 10-year-old Azharuddin Mohammed if she would consider adopting
a child from his home country of India, Angelina - who is in a long-term
relationship with Brad Pitt - reportedly replied: "Well, I'll let you into a
little secret, we will soon."

Angelina was said to be very taken with Azharuddin and Rubina Ali, nine,
when she met them at Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles - where 'Slumdog
Millionaire' picked up eight prizes.

Both children were recruited for the film from the deprived areas of Mumbai
where they live.
