Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have been labeled "The Trollsen Twins" by PETA.
The 21-year-old stars have angered the animal rights group by continuing to wear fur and including it in their clothes lines.
PETA fumed: "Mary-Kate and Ashley have ignored pleas to stop wearing fur and are still using it in their fashion collection."
The group has now launched a campaign against "fur fiends" like Mary-Kate, who they have dubbed "Hairy Kate" and Ashley who they refer to as "Trashley".

PETA have designed a poster featuring the superstar sisters along with the tagline, "Fur Is Worn by Beautiful Animals and Ugly People".
The "Trollsen Twins" poster will be unveiled today next to their Hollywood Walk of Fame star in Los Angeles.
Mary-Kate and Ashley - who in 2005 were estimated to have a combined net worth of $300 million - have a lucrative brand including their own fashion and accessories range, their own film franchise and successful acting and modeling careers.
The twins began their career at just six-months-old playing the part of baby Michelle Tanner on US TV show 'Full House'.

does playing the crazy card over and over again really help peta’s cause?

Them acting like retards when they can’t convert every person in the world does not help their image i must say. Stepping down to the other person’s level means that you’re not a very good organization now are you?

Oh…how cute, they even have a dead kitty and dog in there. Hey PeTA—YOUR the ones that kill dogs and cats, not MK and Ashley!

how does peta kill animals? I send them money, i don’t care what they do as long as they’re fighting for animals.

Colostomy Bag…you’re joking, right? It’s pretty well known by now that they take in and “rescue” animals, only to “humanely euthanize” nearly 90% of them.

I hope the “Trollsen Twins” release a AP statement telling PETA they only use rabbit fur toilet paper & mink tampons.
And that twice a month they pay a Korean imagrant women to shave two beavers.
Today I love The Olsen Twins..

something you may not know about PETA
“PETA president and co-founder Ingrid Newkirk has described her group’s overall goal as “total animal liberation.” This means no meat, no milk, no zoos, no circuses, no wool, no leather, no hunting, no fishing, and no pets (not even seeing-eye dogs). PETA is also against all medical research that requires the use of animals.” Because of PETA’s belief that owning pets is inhumane, they have euthanized thousands of adoptable animals to “save” them from a life of cruel treatment.

I personally do not wear fur, however- the way Peta goes about harassing actresses for wearing fur- really appears to seem hypocritical on their part- and ultimately undermines the positive message they should be sending.
I do not wear fur because I choose not to, but I would never support Peta for violating the rights of people to encourage them not to violate the ‘rights’ of animals.
The people at Peta behave worse than any animal.

I agree with CoLoStOmY bAg.
I do not think they are trying to convert the world but people who are contemplating vegetarianism.
so please lay off of PETA.

Putting an animal to sleep is better than skinning it alive, dumb dumbs. People who wear fur are so fucking disgusting. I don’t support Peta but whatever it takes to make fur become a thing of the past I am all for.

Oh, right. “Rescuing” animals only to kill 90% of them is so much more moral than animals raised for fur.
And of course I believe it….I don’t think a government agency(Virginia Department of Agriculture) has any reason to make up stuff about PeTA.
And if they aren’t trying to convert the world….why the need to harass celebrities and others when they don’t fall in line with their views? Why the need to pass out “Your Daddy/Mommy is a Murderer” pamphlets to young children? Wake up and stop being drones for the PeTA cult.

AzureStars - the story you are talking about involved two employees of PETA who were charged with animal cruelty felonies in their office in Norfolk,VA.
Like any other organization, there are going to be bad apples. And these people do not represent PETA.
PETA can be extreme and I do not agree with all their beliefs. But I do agree with their general philosophy that there is a lot of animal cruelty in the world. And someone needs to represent animals.

I’m going to start harvesting children for the sole purpose of using their skins, then, if it’s fine as long as that’s the reason said life is raised for.
