Amy Winehouse was left bloodied and bruised after a vicious fight with husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

The troubled 'Rehab' singer, whose frail arms were covered in scratches and bandages, ran screaming from London's Sanderson Hotel at 3.30am yesterday.

One pal told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "We spoke to her without Blake in the room. It was soon clear she didn't want to pursue the matter. Despite her injuries she insisted he hadn't attacked her.

"She said she and Blake injected heroin on Wednesday night. She does it between her toes as it gets her high quicker. They started to fight after a row about drugs. She was a blood-stained mess. She looked like an extra from a slasher movie.

"Everyone is completely terrified she'll kill herself with drugs before the week is out."

An onlooker says a hysterical Amy flagged down a black car and jumped in, but Blake - who was bleeding from deep scratches on his face and neck - was too far behind to notice.

He continued searching for her, looking in doorways and even bins.

A source said: "When the car got to Charing Cross, Amy ran to a shop for cigarettes. You could see she'd been in a fight. Her clothes were bloody and she was covered in scratches and bandages."

Another onlooker said: "Amy looked totally out of it. She was covered in blood and her make-up was badly smeared. Her eyes were glazed. It was as though she couldn't see anyone."

Meanwhile Amy has confessed to taking drugs with a prostitute in a London hotel room.

She said in a text message to celebrity gossip reporter Perez Hilton: "Blake is the best man in the world. We would never ever harm each other.

"I was cutting myself after he found me in our room about to do drugs with a call girl and rightly said I wasn't good enough for him. I lost it and he saved my life.

"For the last time he did not and never has hurt me. He has such a hard time and he so supportive. He deserves the truth, he is an amazing man who saved my life again and got cut badly for his troubles. All he get is horrible stories printed about him and he just keeps quiet, but this i too much. [sic]"

Police visited Amy at her hotel yesterday afternoon to question her about the incident but no charges have been filed.

The singer was pictured covered in bandages, scratches and bruises with makeup smeared over her face, while Blake was seen with deep scratch marks all over his face and neck.

Amy has also raised fears she is injecting heroin, after her feet were pictured covered in blood from wounds between her toes.

Heroin users can inject the drug into the space between their toes to prevent them getting 'track marks' on their arms.

When asked about the incident, Amy said in a text message: "I'll be alright. I need to fight my man's corner for him though."

i was a junkie for 7 years and i NEVER, EVER saw ANYONE inject themselves in between their toes.  I think its a myth.  Where are the veins in between your toes???  If you dont want tracks, you just use a new needle every time you shoot up.  People are really misinformed about drugs and drug use, and this is just one small example

Never heard of this chick until about 3 months ago. One hit song about rehab and a slew of stories about drug problems. Prediction : Her name will be in the obituaries before it’s on the charts with another hit.

one of them is gonna die from an overdose or suicide in the next 2 years, i bet you anything. they don’t strike me as people who are AT ALL really interested is kicking the drugs, they just pretend to to get people off their backs.

Missy, not sure how you managed to be a junkie for years and never saw anyone shoot between the toes.  That’s one of the most common places for junkies not wanting any trace of needle marks (ask anyone in the modeling world).  And you don’t get track marks from using the same needle, you get them from the scabs caused by the needle marks as most junkies inject themselves several times a day mainlining the most common veins.  They also appear more obvious when a vein gets blown out.

Where is the “Intervention” Camera Crew when you need them.  This is very sad for her.  The Media is taking advantage of her because they know she is high.  They keep contacting her and she keeps trying to explain herself. Someone needs to help this girl.
