Boy George Sweeps NYC Streets

Boy George sweeps NYC streets as a punishment earlier today (08/14/06).

The Culture Club frontman, real name George O'Dowd, will carry out five days
court-ordered community service with New York's sanitation department later
this month.

The punishment comes after police discovered cocaine at the singer's
Manhattan home after he falsely claimed his apartment had been broken into
last October.

This look explains how his day went.

Maybe he should consider the sanitation department as his next career choice.

With all the shit going on in the city, these guys have nothing better to do than line up to take shots of Boy G sweeping?

Looks like he got up so early, he didn’t have time to put on his makeup.

He looks like Dr. Evil! He used to be my makeup role model when I was a child. What happened?

“He looks like Dr. Evil! He used to be my makeup role model when I was a child. What happened?”

It’s called ‘getting old’. I usually don’t put on makeup when I’m sweeping up around my house, either. He’s not made up for the media.

I actually feel sorry for the guy. I wish the media would leave him in peace while he does his duty.

I feel sorry for him too voice.  It’s been pretty warm in the city.I think that’s mean to do to someone who’s not used to manual labor especially in the the hot streets of NY.

I have a hard time feeling sorry for him. Most others would be serving their penance in a correctional facility. If he was stupid enough to have cocaine in plain sight after voluntarily calling the cops to his home, then he deserves a little humiliation.

Yeah, he got off pretty light, especially considering his previous drugs record.

If he found the community service order so outrageous, he could always have done time instead.

“Dr Evil” LMAO… He IS learning a valuable lesson. This is his wake up call from the universe. Get help or next time he might be sleeping in the street or in a jail.
