Brad Pitt was grabbed by a crazed fan at the Venice Film Festival.

The 43-year-old actor, who was walking down the red carpet with lover
Angelina Jolie to promote his new film 'The Assassination of Jesse James by
the Coward Robert Ford', was left shaken after the overzealous woman managed
to push past security and launched herself at Brad, throwing her arms around
him.

A source said: "It was a very scary moment for Brad and Angelina. The
security team should never have allowed her to get so close. She could have
been anyone. Brad definitely was not impressed by the incident."



The female fan, who insisted she only wanted a hug from Brad, was
immediately escorted away by security.

Brad recently revealed he and Angelina - who already have a 15-month-old
biological daughter, Shiloh, and three adopted children, six-year-old
Cambodian boy Maddox, Vietnamese son Pax Thien, three, and two-year-old
Ethiopian daughter Zahara - are keen to add to their brood.

When asked if they wanted a fifth child, Brad replied: "Yeah, we are ready."

The 'Fight Club' star also revealed fatherhood is "the most fun" he's ever
had, although he admits he is sleep deprived.

A source said: "They've decided the time is right to try for another baby. Brad is crossing his fingers that it will be a boy."

To give themselves the best possible chance of conceiving, Brad, 43, has been reading a number of health books and has been cooking Angelina, 32, fertility boosting meals.

Apart from the negative comments to come…I just have to say that being a celebrity is still a scary every day thing - trying to live a normal life with your family and never knowing who is waiting to take you out…such as John Lennon, etc. - doesn’t seem to matter whether you have security or not.  If someone wants to kill you, usually nothing will deter them from trying.

How enjoyable can it really be to fly all over the world or the country to prance down a red carpet. SUCH a waste of money - everyone’s money - the backers, the stars, the event planners - all pouring waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much $$$ into this nonsense.

There MUST be something more rewarding that this to do with money.

The jolie-pitts especially. As the poster couple for ‘save the world’, why not ask the backers and the event planners, and put some of their own monies into worthwhile things. ANYTHING tangible and worthwhile!!

Not sure why my post was taken the way it was, but, I’ll try to explain my thoughts again… 

All I was trying to say is that along with the millions, the notorioty, and all the other bullshit involved with being a celebrity in TODAY’S world, ANYONE famous (and I was NOT singling out these two) always is taking that chance that some crazed person, fan, whoever,  may be there at any time or place to try and harm them.  I know it goes with the territory of being famous and yes, with all their money, they COULD just go off and go settle in Bumshit, Middle America, and live the rest of their lives out without the fame and fortune…but, we all know that isn’t going to happen anytime soon.

Sorry all.  Didn’t mean to offend so many with my thoughts…but I guess I still haven’t gotten over John Lennon’s unfortunate death in 1980 yet.  It just made me think of how vulnerable all celebs are, as well as just the average joe, in this world.  That’s all.

Vtgal i was thinking the same thing a while ago. Like those who try to be normal and not have a million bodyguards around them would be at risk for those who are crazy enough to try to harm them or get over excited. Like what kind of reaction would a celeb have if a person lunges at them really quick for a hug when that celeb could be thinking of weapons or anything that the person could have. I can see how they might be paranoid especially if the public hates them.
