Britney Spears has become addicted to buying wigs, it has been reported.

The troubled star has allegedly traded her party addiction for shopping -
spending more than $60,000 on wigs, vintage hats, clothes, lingerie, perfume
and jewellery in less than a month.

A source close to the 'Toxic' singer said Britney "has turned into a
shopaholic".

Addiction expert Dr. Robert Butterworth told US In Touch Weekly magazine:
"People with addictions often go from one compulsive behaviour to another."

Mother-of-two Britney, 25, shaved off all her hair before entering Malibu's
Promises rehab centre. The star was reportedly treated for a range of
problems, including post-natal depression, following months of hard partying
and drunken behavior.

While Britney was initially happy to display her shaved head, she soon opted
to wear a variety of wigs.

Addiction specialist Clare Waismann said: "She's acting like a child. This
is not normal behaviour. Her whole demeanour is strange. She's not doing
well."

The star - who is hoping to revive her pop career - is believed to have
sacked manager Larry Randolph for a second time.

Britney blames Larry for contributing to her recent downfall, including
introducing her to party-girl Paris Hilton, it was reported yesterday
(04.17.07).

She is a terrible mother. Its crazy how nuts she has gotten. But she still walks around like her s@#! doesn’t stink. I really hope that people on the streets start shouting things to her like “please go home to your babies” or “why did you want to have kids, for nannies to raise them”! She can buy all the wigs in the world but she aint fooling nobody….we all there is a bald head underneath that wig!!!! LOL.

Ouch marydoll!  I wear leg warmers.  But I can be a dork trapped in the 80’s at times.  Bless my husband, he had to order some online for me at christmas cause they were on my wishlist. 

Anyhoo, I still maintain they made a wrong turn at rehab and should have instead took her to the psycho ward.  And I am a little ignorant on the subject of post-partum depression, but shouldnt you be around your baby somewhat after the birth in order to suffer the effect?

marydoll512, I wasn’t offended, it’s not a problem, hon!  I’m the goofball here and should re-evaluate my own fashion sense at times.  But rest assured, my leg-warmers look better than Britney’s!

Glad to see her body slowly but surely going back to the Britney she used to be.

Glad to see her not making an ass out of herself.

I gotta admit (even though i’ll get ragged on for it) i actually like this dance outfit. I think its cute. Even the leg warmers! I have never gotten over them (hee hee).

I must admitt shes looking alot better than what she use to! But theres still no doubt in my mind that shes a nut case.

She should get a wig that looks like cousin It from the Adam’s family, then she would be completely covered and nobody would have to look at her nasty ass anymore.

I think it’s a slight improvement over the cheeto stained baby doll dresses she used to wear. A major improvement over the commando look as well.

60 grand is nothing considering that you buy decent high qulity jewelry! So Go Britney! Spend as long as you can!
