Britney Spears spends 17 times more on going out than she does on her two children.

The troubled singer - who lost custody of the two boys to her ex-husband Kevin Federline last month - spends only $6,000 of her $737,868 monthly earnings on child care, according to papers filed in her divorce battle, which were kept sealed until yesterday.

Britney spends $102,000 a month on entertainment - going out, gifts and vacations - $16,000 on her wardrobe, almost $50,000 on her mortgage and $10,000 on utility bills.



While Kevin - who is currently attempting to kick-start his acting career with a role on US TV drama 'One Tree Hill' - claims he earns nothing, he receives $20,000 a month in spousal support, and $15,000 in child support payments from Britney.

The child support payments are expected to continue until the boys are adults, because Britney is the main earner in the family. Meanwhile, 25-year-old Britney claimed earlier this week she is a "good mother" and is "doing the best" she can.

She said: "People say what they want and do what they do. It's really sad how people - how cruel our world can be. But at the end of the day you've got to know in your heart that you are doing the best that you can.

"As long as you know what's up and what's true, then that's all that matters."

Britney's Expenses:

$49,267 on mortgage payments
$16,000 on clothes
$10,000 on utility bills
$6,000 on childcare
$4,758 on eating out
$2,500 on phone bills

Kevin's Expenses:
$5,000 on entertainment, gifts and vacation
$7,500 on rent
$2,000 on clothes
$1,500 on eating out
$750 on phone bills

Really and truly it is her money and she can spend it how she wants.  She made the money, why cant she spend it the way she wants?  Don’t we all spend our money the way we want?  The only difference is she makes alot more than the average joe.

And heres a question i have for anyone who might have an idea….she has enough money to pay full for her house, what advantage would that be to have a morgage with an enormous amount of intrest? That seems stupid to do. And $6,000 a month is pretty excessive to spend on kids per month. its more important to be there as a mother, but she could care less. Shes a deadbeat mom.

I don’t believe it’s our business how much money she has and how she spends it.

Although I would have a bowl of cocaine next to my bed if I had that much money. lol

Kids don’t need that much money a month to be taken care of anyways. She has the money to waste and spend it on whatever then let her, stupid fans are still supporting her.

Round the clock nanny or manny care in the past, before she lost full custody can cost a lot of money.  Of course she can spend the money anyway she wants to but…..dah—she has two toddler boys, she is not free from responsibility unless she wants to give them to Kevin or her mother full time.  Even then, she will have to provide for them.  No college fund, no savings account or even life insurance for the boys??  Her list of spending and expenses speaks volumes of where her priorities are. But wait, people, uh the world can be very cruel.  She knew who Federline was when she married him.  At least he had his pool and his home child proofed and has so far proven to be the far better and more responsible parent.

for a wild ride….  What a shame to be born to
that mother!!!

Yeah….Mortgage?  Didn’t she put any money in savings when she was coming up.
Also….Hey, Britney and K-Fed….Use your night and weekend minutes and put that extra money in an account so when you are old, washed up and broke that your kids can at least go to college.

Those kids aren’t well. all they need, is a real happy and supporting famili. routine and loving. they need comfort and care.
