A panicky church guard ordered a photographer at gunpoint to stay clear of Britney Spears yesterday.
Britney, 25, had just left a Presbyterian service when the paparazzo followed, dodging police halting traffic and driving close to an officer.
It was enough to make the suspicious guard, a retired cop, halt the lensman's car at gunpoint shouting: "Get out of your car! Get down!"
He then hauled the terrified man out of his Lexus 4x4, handcuffed him, and sat him down by the side of the road.
A witness to the bizarre scene in Bel Air, Los Angeles, said: "When Britney left the church in her car police kept photographers back.
"One guy tried to get past and two guards ran into the street.
"One whipped out a gun. He was shouting 'Get out of your car!' The snapper looked so scared. He was saying 'What have I done?'
"The guard said 'You tried to run the traffic officer down'. He said 'No, I didn't'."
The photographer was later released.
The church said: "Our guard doesn't regret what he did. This is a church, not a pop concert."

Some church THAT is. I have never heard of anything like that in my life ,at least from a christian church. Give me a break. I have been to churches in the GHETTO of detroit and never seen that before.

Ms. Sleepy, I agree. The strangest part of this story (which if it involves Britney Spears, any more I have a lot of doubt of truthfulness anyway) is the fact that a church has a security guard! And who did the guard’s background check—God ??!! LOL

Christ. I would have pulled a gun too. I don’t believe the stalkarazzi for one minute. They are a bunch of vultures and deserve to have the shit scared out of them from time to time. They can’t even let her go to church in peace. No going to the bathroom, no going to church, no doing anything…think about it. This is enough to send anyone over the edge. As for the guard having a gun, they all have guns up there in the US. The US is gun happy, we all know that.

Is that a picture tied ot this story because i want to know what the hell did she have on during the service. The guards should’ve planted a bag of coke (from brit of course) in the back seat of one of the paps car, assholes.
