Britney Spears' father is concerned about his daughter - saying she is a
"sick little girl".
As the troubled singer checked into rehab for the third time this week,
Britney's dad, Jamie Spears, opened up about the family's increasing worry
for her wellbeing.
Jamie said: "We've got a sick little girl - we're just trying to take care
of her."
Britney checked into California's Promises Malibu Treatment Center on
Tuesday (02.20.07), but quit in the early hours of Wednesday (02.21.07),
before later checking in again on the same day.
Britney, 25, was spotted visiting a top Los Angeles lawyer on Wednesday
following reports her ex, Kevin Federline, had requested an emergency
custody hearing over their two sons, Sean Preston, 17 months, and Jayden
James, five months.
Later in the day, Britney drove to Kevin's home - where he was looking after
their children - only to get no answer when she rung the door bell.
Witnesses then saw the star attack a photographer with an umbrella, which
she also used to hit a parked car near Kevin's home, which she believed
belonged to photographers.
An eye witness said: "She ran at the guy as he took her picture and kept
swinging the umbrella at him. It hadn't been so sad it would have been like
a comedy sketch."

You know what makes me sick? Having to hear about Britney’s dumb ass every day. Maybe the problem is everyone around her is coddling her. Guess what bitches I think it’ time for tough love. Despite what Papa Spears says she is not a little girl, she is an adult with kids of her own. She needs to be treated like a big “girl”.

Of course she’s sick - sick of people telling her “no”! I don’t think she’s suffering from anything except a major temper tantrum. People are finally putting their feet down with her and she can’t handle it. That’s all. Maybe that’s why her dad said that it wasn’t what people thought.
She’s lashed out at the paps before like when she was at a Subway with Kevin and she just threw her soda all over one of the photographers. There was also the time she, Jamie Lynn and her friends in alien masks threw milkshakes all over the paps.
People are just reading into it more now because there’s more drama. There are kids involved and it seems more serious but I think this the Britney that’s been around all along, just now people see more of the temper tantrums.
And once again they had to ALERT THE MEDIA! These people will do anything for attention and that’s all it’s about. She’s not sick, she’s starving for attention.
Remember when she and Kevin first got married and went to her hometown in Louisiana? Her mother drove them to the local WalMart and when they left, with enabler Mom driving, Kevin and Britney had on like ghoulish Halloween masks. Lynn was laughing, hahaha, and all that shit like what they were doing was normal, in their book anyway.
Guess anything Shitney did was always acceptable in their book, until now, when she has made a total idiot out of herself for ALL the world to see.
Shitney’s needed a swift kick in the ass for many years now, but I guess you don’t hit the gravytrain, if you’re making money off it, until it really goes off track. Hope her parents learn a huge lesson here and don’t let the same thing happen to her sister.
I just saw the video of her rampage. WOW. They were just taking simple pictures and asking how she was. What an overreaction.
Britney has lost it and I hope she is CHARGED with assault and battery, then has to serve JAILTIME. First a stint IN jail, then a mental institution. She is more than a sick little girl - she needs to be put AWAY—NOW.

Story is wrong. She did this on the street outside a gas station not at his house, unless he lives across the road from a Jiffy Lube. Has anyone thought that maybe the security of the Rehab itself was questionable? I would leave too if something was not right with the facility. She just needs to be left alone to go and do what she has to do and that is to get better for herself and her childrens sake.

I think she should go to rehap somewhere very remote and has good security. Then once she heals(if she is able} take those kids and raise them out of the lime light far away from LA like Demi Moore did with her girls. Then make a come back after you have raised those boys.

Who fucking knows why she attacked them or why she’s going nuts, but having millions of camera flashes in my face while i’m in the car would send my blood pressure to pluto.
The poor girl needs to be left alone. She is going through a tough time and she can’t go anywhere without the paps following her. I feel sorry for her. This goes to prove that success/fame/money doesn’t bring happiness.
Sounds like a crazy made up need for attention that could have even been created by her manager in order to sell her upcoming CD. Seems to me if anyone actually bought into this crap CPS would be all over her and getting those kids, but they’re not and to me that says a lot.

this girl has simply had enpugh of evey second of her life having to be captured on film to appease gossip hounds. I couldn’t imagine living life like this for an hour nevermind 24/7. Some critics will choose to say she chose this life being a performer and all, but i dispute that. The celebs we seldom read about are theh ones no one shows desire to read about on a constant basis. Maybe she has made poor choices, but thats her life and lessons to learn. we all have done stupid things, we just didn’t have the audience of a million watching us fall. and the world kicking us when were most vulnerable. all she needs is some privacey and understanding from those who love her and to be left alone. my heart aches for this girl and her children. she can’t win here, she is out with them phtos are taken and she’s a bad parent for letting it happen. she keeps them away and shes a bad parent for not showing them? come on now people be fair here. Leave her be, give her room to breathe. let her catch her breath for a second before the world pummels her again and again. i know i can think of few news worthy events other than watching her of every second of every day.
Bull f-ing SHIT Christine. Britney’s life isn’t captured “24/7” - more like a few minutes each day, or each time she goes out and does something stupid to get attention.
No celeb (or has-been in Britney’s case) signs up for it, but once you do a few dozen dumbass things, chances are…you’ll do it again. The paparazzi know that - all they are doing is waiting for the next BS screwup.
And why was it that Britney makes all these stops to the gas stations? She was all smiles for them when she was with Eyesik (or whatever the goon’s name was) - she enjoyed it. She was in a bad mood because she was caught stalking Kevin. Tough shit.
