Britney Spears' former assistant has revealed the singer's friends and
family want her to go to rehab.

Felicia Culotta - who worked for Britney for over nine years and has been
described as a personal assistant, chaperone, and a friend - has written to
an internet fansite insisting the singer will hit rock bottom if she doesn't
get help now.

Since filing for divorce from Kevin Federline, Britney has been seen
drinking, partying and was photographed without underwear on several
occasions.

Her posting on Thatotherblog.com read: "I loved being with Britney for the
past nine-and-a-half years. I enjoyed being a part of her dream.

"I cherish all the incredible opportunities that came my way through my job
with Britney and am crushed/saddened/heart sick by the way her life is
unfolding.

"I want you to know that we (as in her family and nearest and dearest - all
of whom are not on the payroll anymore!!) are doing everything in our power
to get help for Britney.

"And we are doing all in our power to NOT pad the bottom, so when she does
indeed hit rock bottom, she'll stand up and walk away from this whole fiasco
a new, confident, changed, career driven Britney like the one we all knew
and loved.

"To see what's transpiring now makes me feel a failure, defeated. I loved
and believed in what I was a part of for the past 10 years and was so
incredibly proud of Britney and all she'd become."

Culotta also says she has given up trying to save the star, after Britney
refused any help and advice offered.

She writes: "There's just so much you can do to help a person - I don't dare
want to be an enabler, and I cannot love her enough for the both of us. I
cannot convince her in any way to love herself.

"I'm so Southern, and the best way for me to tell you how I feel is to say
you can only kick an old dog so many times before he gets off the porch.

"I, Felica, am OFF the porch!!"

It’s too late.  She has destroyed her image by being so damn trashy.

I agree that she is trashy, I agree she may have alienated her fans….but the matter at hand is that someone gets her some help. Let this public statement from Felicia, of all people that knew her, be the thing that straightens her up!
She needs some serious help to save her life, who cares about her career at this point~

It must be bad if Felicia is talking.  Her family should have Britney committed and take the kids away before something happens to them.  She had mental-emotional problems BEFORE her marriage or kids.  Why didn’t they help then?

From the looks of things she has no career to look forward to. The damage is already done to what was already damaged, no hope if she doesn’t want help.

sounds like her friend has the right idea…don’t try to cushion her fall…b/c she needs to hit HARD to get it through her thick redneck head she’s a complete mess and bigass loser.

i think Britney needs a fucking shrink and major rehab, no Lohan half-ass rehab…rehab where they take away your clothes and make you wear hospital gowns and forcibly detox you ass and stick you in therapy for 5 hours a day.

interesting she mentioned not being on the payroll anymore. looks like Britney has fired everyone, esp. her stylist, and is trying to wander through her life alone…which a NORMAL person would be able to do b/c our lives are simpler. but she was a mere child when she became famous and started having everyone hold her hand and wipe her nose every 30 seconds, so she’s 25 without a freaking clue what living like a responsible adult means. she’s basically still 15 emotionally and is completely lost and disgusting now.

Someone ought to make Britney sit, while totally sober, in front of the tv for a few hours and watch the Anna Nicole coverage. Does she really want to do that to her kids??????

We all can see how her laughter and smiles fade when she has to “play” Mommy for two minutes.

She is in serious need of help and for her former assistant to come out declaring what’s said above, you just know that Shitney’s really hit bottom now.  I hate to say it, but Anna Nicole better push over in the morgue.  Britney will be next, unless she straightens her life out, and soon.

I can understand her covering her infant to protect it from the camera flashes (although she isn’t doing anything to help SPF with that, which makes me think it’s because JJ is the latest money-maker for published pics.)....but does she have to smother the baby?  Is he getting air? 

IMO - someone like Britney will take her kids’ lives before she would even think about taking her own.  Someone PLEASE GET THOSE BABIES AWAY FROM HER!!

I doubt there is anything wrong with the baby.  She’s just waiting to get the right $$ amount for his picture.  I guess since her mother pimped her out and made money from her, she should do the same to her kids.  And I doubt any money she makes from the pics will go to charity.

If I were Kevin, I’d take pics of JJ and offer them up for free…or get a friend to do it as an under the table cash deal.

I’m just glad she doesn’t have either of them on her lap driving.  So she protects/hides JJ (next cash maker), but leaves old SPF to fend for himself?  I saw the pics too…and SPF looks like he just smoked a bowl.

Brit needs more than rehab. rehab is just rehab. not saying she couldn’t do with a stint, but her issues are so far removed from drinking an partying. her drinking and drug taking is [insert ‘du’h] used mask emotional demons that rehab can’t even touch.

she needs lockup with a therapist! once she finds the key to the problems, the self medicating should become unnecessary, automatically.

There are lots of people going through the kind of depression and self-steem problems that Bitchney has.
Ricky Martin for instance, had depression and travelled to India to find enlightment.
Angelina Jolie was almost as bad as Shitney until she found out the kind of disgrace that many people is living in this world and decided that helping them is a very good reason to live.

Shitney has two kids, a lot of money to get help (I mean, poor people with depression have to cope up with it instead of going to glamorous spas and chating with Deepak Chopra) but she is stupid and teeny enough to continue acting like white trash and turning all the critics about her on reasons to get more depressed and continue doing shit.
I beg God, for her kids that this won’t happen, but I think this brat is very likely to annoy the hell out of us for two years more and end up as homeless hooker in ten.

Britney, grow up. You are a disgusting mess. When your family, friends, and fans can’t even get through to you that you need help asap, then good luck. You are totally screwed. Wake up and realize that you need to have some self control. You have two young children for gods sake.
