Meanwhile Britney Spears and Paris Hilton have bought matching dogs.

The former friends each showed off their new pet Yorkshire Terriers in
California over the weekend.

Britney, wearing a pink bob wig, arrived at a dance studio clutching her
puppy - who she has named London.

She later swapped her pink locks for a long black hair-piece and took her
new pet pooch out clubbing with her to a Hollywood nightspot.

A friend said: "She took London out with her because she didn't want to
leave him alone."

The 25-year-old singer reportedly forked out £1,500 for London after
spending 30 minutes shopping for a new mutt to replace her former dogs,
Bit-Bit, Lacy and Lucky, in Los Angeles on Friday (13.07.07).

Pet-lover Paris also refused to be parted from her new furry friend and
arrived at a Malibu beach party carrying her dog.

The 26-year-old hotel heiress - who also owns a pet Chihuahua called
Tinkerbell - dressed her puppy in a special dog bikini to match her own
skimpy beach attire.

Britney and Paris have both previously taken the dubious title of the
world's worst celebrity dog owner.

I just lost my beloved yorkie (who was from a shelter) and this new trend-setting yorkie buying after 30 min of shopping is infuriating me more than anything. If Holywood bitches go around the world buying all coloured kids to make them look and feel better, why don’t they at least pretend to rescue dogs that need help???? AND look after them, rather than taking them to a noisy, smoky environment like clubs for about a week before they get another handbag???
