Britney Spears is losing her lawyer.

At a hearing in the ongoing Britney Spears/Kevin Federline custody war that is just about to start, disso-queen Laura Wasser will submit legal papers formally withdrawing as the singer's attorney. Sources say Spears' new lawyer will be high-profile attorney, Marci Levine.

The word we hear is that Britney was a problem client because she just didn't listen to and follow the advice Wasser gave so Spears could maintain custody and end the war.



K-Fed threw a birthday blowout bash last Sunday for Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1 while Brit was in Vegas for the VMA's. The boys, wearing disposable diapers, were surrounded by presents and birthday balloons at K-Fed's Encino home.

A TMZ spy says that Britney's parents were there, along with the boys' step-siblings and baby mama Shar Jackson. Guest were treated to barbecue -- which was briefly interrupted to watch Britney on the VMAs. When Sarah Silverman started cracking jokes about the boys, the TV was quickly turned off.

i think k-fed delierately threw the part the day she was on the VMAs b/c he knew she couldn’t be there…then he could use that in court. “hey judge, she was more interested in getting high and making an ass of herself on TV than being at her kids’ b-day party! she’s a bad mom.”

p.s. we haven’t heard DICK about britney doing anything for her kids, or spending time with them on their actually b-day Weds and Fri of last week. where was she, still crying in her drinks in las vegas, forgetting she had 2 babies at home turning 1 year older?

I already found flaws in this report, um yeah, shar jackson could NOT have been there because she said she was going to the vmas.
As for those kids wearing their diapers? So trashy. And im telling you what, those kids are both going to be slow and underdeveloped. I bet they will be wearing diapers for years to come and they will be really slow in talking. You can blame the parents 100% for that too. Lynn spears is the one who should get sole custody.
