Britney Spears was up to her usual antics on Thursday, allegedly speeding around Hollywood doing "upwards of 80 to 90 miles an hour."

The embattled singer started off her day of errands with the inevitable Starbucks run. Brit waited in the car while she dispatched her assistant, Carla, to pick up her Frappuccino.

Then the duo hit their favorite gas station where Britney, 26, picked up a 5-Hour Energy drink and then worked off some of the energy by peeling out of the parking lot and roaring down the street at high speeds.

"She was going, like, 90 down Sunset and on PCH (Pacific Coast Highway). She was going that fast for 15 to 20 minutes," an eyewitness tells PageSix.com, adding that one member of the paparazzi was arrested for trying to keep up.

"She was swerving and not paying attention to the cars in front of her. At one point she sort of stepped on her breaks really suddenly and you could hear the tires screeching. She’s not a very good driver."

Back at the Peninsula Hotel, the overcaffeinated pop star scraped the bottom of her Mercedes Benz while pulling up to the driveway. Then it was onto Hollywood’s Virgin Megastore without a hint of irony.

I am getting sick of all the free passes this bitch is getting. They have her fucking ass on tape numerous times committing traffic violations after traffic violations and still no one has charged her or even attempted to take her license away. And when the judge looking after the welfare of her kids said she could no longer drive with her kids, fuck that. Why didn’t he just take her damn license away? i guess it doesnt really matter what she does, shes a celebrity and whether you like it or not, celebrities are American royalty. they dont have to abide by common law. Brit will always be on the streets showin off how pathetic she has become. Mischa Barton’s dui will probably take about 2 years to make it into court, in which the case will have new evidence and then eventually it will be dismissed or she will have to spend an hour in jail, then be back out on the streets before happy hour.

Perezhilton has 2 video’s along with the a similar story and guess what, Those video’s show BRITNEY sitting in her car waitting for that other girl that was in STARBUCKS. The papz were there flashing away, until she left. Why don’t they leave this girl along already. If a paparazzi was stopped for speeding after her, why wasn’t Britney cited?  The middle of this year, in the summer, I believe she was stopped for speeding, but just given a warning.  The policeman didn’t even check her license (She was driving then without a California drivers license).  The LA District Attorneys Office will not be charging Brandy, and she killed someone by rear ending the car in front of her driving 65 miles an hour under the influence.  Celebrity justice is making me ill.

To Petite, sounds like you need to go back and review the records of Brandy’s case.  The highway patrol disagreed with the LA District Attorney’s office’s decision.  Was she ever given a drug and or alcohol test?  It is still reckless driving and as a driver it is your responsibility to look ahead of you and not tail gate.  She clearly caused the pile up and the accident that killed someone and got away with it.  Sounds like you are blaming the victims here!!  I hope you never drive behind me on the freeways or highways.

To jaye—How do you know that Brandy was not driving under the influence of drugs and or alcohol?  Did you give her a blood or breath test?  It was not my intention to lie or make any thing up about Brandy.  I read the California Highway Patrol report and she clearly caused the accident that caused the death of one person and harm to many others going 65 miles per hour and tail gating—slamming the car in front of her.  Whether Britney was driving as fast as TMZ reported or not—she is still driving recklessly and with the paparazzi chasing her just as fast some one is going to get killed also.  The bottom line is a vehicle can be used as a weapon, and I respect the California Highway Patrols report.
