Brooke Hogan has been dropped by a teen magazine after posing semi-naked for
a photo shoot.
The singer - the daughter of legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan - was due to
appear on the front cover of Prom, however, editors were outraged when she
appeared in FHM wearing a skimpy bikini.
In a statement, Prom spokesman Aaron Bernick fumed: "We don't feel up to
taking thousands of telephone calls from the upset mothers of our young
promers."
However, Brooke's representative has denied claims she was dropped because
her image was "not appropriate for the Prom audience".
Her spokesperson said: "Clearly, Prom is attempting to publicize their
magazine by stirring up controversy over photos of Brooke that they took
more than a year ago.
"It looks like they are trying to up their circulation."
Meanwhile, Brooke is busy promoting the third series of her father Hulk's
hit reality TV show, 'Hogan Knows Best', and her debut album, which is
released on October 24.

Ok, wtf? We all know that Brooke looks NOTHING like this in person. Add about 20 more lbs. to this cover, and you have Brooke. If Hollywood wouldn’t have mentioned this was a picture of Brooke, I never would’ve guessed it.

This barely resembles Brooke Hogan. She is a pretty girl so I do not understand why they felt the need to morph these photos into someone or something that doesn’t look like her. Just goes to show how f*cked up the world of celebrities is. As far as this Prom mag thing goes…it may just be an excuse to draw attention to the mag, which I’ve personally never heard of until now. It may be a legitimate concern and, if so, I suppose it is their right to decide who can and can’t be in the magazine. Not really much of a story really…

Why would the mothers get upset anyways, it’s not like a magazine will make their kids go something stupid when their precious daughters are probably taking X and fucking the guy next door.
It’s amazing what makeup, lighting, hair extensions, photo retouching, fake tanning, and skin bronzing can do.
AH! The magic of Adobe Photoshop and airbrushing! I’ve seen her in person; add at least 30 pounds. She is thick and she so DOES NOT have this body. Shame on FHM for trying to fool us!

I am so tired of always seeing the same shit on covers. These overly photoshopped / doctored pics of celebs. The final product is a person that doesnt even exist. What a distorted image of beauty our society has, that not even these celebs, with all the help they get, can be good enough for a cover. It always has to be tweaked up cuz the natural body just isnt good enough!

I agree marydoll512~ I wish they’d tone it down just a tad…atleast not alter the body shape and facial features. If the person doesn’t have the shape to do a cover, don’t put them on there for hell’s sake. I know that would put a lot of retouchers out of work, but damn. I like to think that even MEN would appreciate some natural beauty for a change. You know, girls that they might actually see in real life and have a shot with because they exist. There are some online sites that feature naturally beautiful women and they don’t retouch the photos. These women, flaws and all, are beautiful beyond any doubt. I use them a lot for anatomical reference in my drawings etc. and I still can’t figure out what is wrong with them that mags like FHM feel they have to destroy their realism and airbrush them within an inch of their life. I guess I’m not meant to understand.

The headline for this blog is totally wrong. Brook is too sexy?!?!?! .....more like Brooke is too ugly!!!! She only looks half decent in these pics is because they touched it up to the extreme!!
If she was too sexy they wouldn’t have had to make her into an unreconizable cartoon character.
