Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake split because the singer cast Scarlett Johansson in one of his music videos, it has been claimed.

Cameron - whose four-year relationship with the 'SexyBack' singer came to an end shortly before Christmas - was allegedly furious when Justin chose Scarlett to play his love interest in the promo for his song 'What Goes Around'.

The couple's relationship was already struggling and Justin's decision casting decision was the final straw.

A source told Britain's Heat magazine: "When Justin cast Scarlett, Cameron felt it was the first time another person was involved. She can get very angry and very jealous. When she knew the other person was possibly Scarlett, she was furious. The two women have never been good friends, plus Scarlett had a relationship with Jared Leto, who Cameron had previously dated for four years."

Since the break-up, Cameron - who has recently been linked to champion surfer Kelly Slater - has apparently turned to her 'Charlie's Angels' co-star Drew Barrymore for support.

The source added: "The two girls have a lot in common, as Drew just broke up with her boyfriend of five years, Fabrizio Moretti. Cameron is emotionally distressed but Drew told her, 'Time heals all. Justin was probably not the right person for you.' "

Justin and Scarlett were recently spotted partying together at the post-premiere party of his new film 'Alpha Dog' at the exclusive Social Hollywood club.

Cameron’s face looks VERY SCARY in this pic.  Her makeup is all wrong in this picture.  I’ve never been a big fan of Cameron.  She dated a younger guy.  What does she expect?  Marriage?  Of all her talk about not wanting to get married I really think that secretly that’s what she really wants but she’s trying to play it off like it doesn’t bother her.  He’s still young and he wants to explore his options and not be tied down to her. 

If you listen to his song “What Comes Around” he admitted that he was ready to marry Britney and yet he’s been with Cameron for 4 years and he tells everyone that he’s not going to get married.  So, obviously he didn’t want to spend the rest of his life with her.  She needs to get over it and give it a rest already.  Walk away with some dignity.  There’s plenty of men out there.

Move on, which looks like you have anyways…..Justin is a little boy who with one album regain status he will flirt, date, run around, have his little fans giggle and drool over him and than he is gone for another 3 to 5 years with no other credits to him; and we being the society we are will embrace him again in 5 years like if he was KING, which he is not!!!And by the way his SEXY BACK song sucks!!! Any one who knows anything about music knows is just a bunch of repetiion with nothing else and Cameron still is a B star movie; nothing there either….

Everyone seems to give cameron s*&% for acting this way but i totally get it. I think i like her more now then before. If you love someone and they betray you its heartbreaking. I dont think this makes cameron a jelous bitch either. IO think its totally normal and 99% of the people in the tabloids that are being polled saying they are on justins side, are really more like cameron then they want to admit.
