Carmen Electra was "disgusted" with her body when she was a teenager.

The 'I Want Candy' star, famed for her sexy curves, struggled to love her
figure when she was younger and even starved herself to lose weight.

The actress said: "As a teenager, I really hated my curves. I felt quite
disgusted with myself and went through periods of not eating. It definitely
wasn't healthy. Body image has always been something I've had to deal with
but now I feel much more confident within myself."



Carmen, 34, shot to fame as a swimsuit-clad lifeguard in hit US TV show
'Baywatch' and has posed naked in Playboy magazine several times.

The brunette star was also a member of 'The Pussycat Dolls', when the group
was a dance troupe and not a pop band.

I love carmen but lets face it, the only curves she has is her boobs and they are fake (she didn’t have them in high school). I think its so funny when these stars try to convience themselfs nad the public that they have curves! LOL.

I think they confuse being in bad shape for being “curvy.”  Having a flabby belly does NOT mean you are curvy.  you just need to hit the gym!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, Rag-no-mo, you’re an obvious mysoginist if you’re trying to say that Carmen Electra is fat. She has an incredibly healthy body. Should she look like Nicole Ritchie and the rest of ‘em?

And a word to Carmen, yes, you have a wonderful body, be proud of it. But you are nowhere near confident. It is painfully obvious you are still struggling with body image. Women who take their clothes off for public consumption are not confident, they are SEEKING confidence in the wrong place.

I never said she’s fat!  Have you ever heard of skinny girls with flabby skin?  Well, that’s what I noticed is going on with Carmen in some of these pics.  Her abs are not that firm, that’s all.  I’ve seen bigger girls with nicer abs. 

It’s just that I’ve noticed that girs who are skinny, yet dont have a good shape due to genetics often want to call themselves “curvy.”

I admire women who are curvy, because they are genetically blessed with having the fat in the right places.  Or work hard at the gym to have curves in the right places.

And no, I dont think she should look like Nicole or any of the other anorexic chicks.

One more thing, I dont think she’s pretty.  She’s got that “Im trying to hard to be sexy” look and it’s annoying!

Wait until she’s 40 and then she will have a right to talk about her body and it’s problems.  Amazes me how many young stars bring up this crap.

It’s amazing how many people discuss this in a negative way.  If Carmen is considered by anyone to have a “flabby” tummy I think you need to check your eyes.  WTF?  Seriously.  She is not super skinny and not quite the full body type, she is anything but flabby.  I have a couple of friends who are trainers and for the percentage of people who are ripped (the percentage in Hollywood is low, sorry to burst the bubble on that one) there is a bigger percentage who are just fit. People who are very into body building or very toned have tight skin.  Just because your skin does not look tight like that does not make you flabby.  I am not dissing anyone on here.  I was just making an observation on how people perceive body types.

knowing how critical people in hollywood are about their bodies, I can see her hating her stomach in picture # 6.  I know it’s normal for people’s belly to crunch up like that, you all know it’s normal, but people with body issues do not.

Just kidding! But i did want to say that i am petite shaped but i have some cellulite, i have no genetics at all. I really need to tone up my body it would be hot, but i tell people that i have no curves, no ass or thighs, no hips (sighs). But i do know some women who are like 5’5” 165lbs who consider themselves curvy and “thick”, no bitches you are overweight! And i’m sick of people calling carmen and scarlett curvy.

these are not flattering pics of her. they look cheap (she looks cheap too). these look like promo shots for a strip club, not professional photos of someone as famous as her.

What’s wrong with her face ?  She doesn’t even look like herself any more.  I have to find an older picture of her, I think she’s had an aggressive brow lift and her brow position is horrible !

Re implants, I would imagine most women regret getting them, since the vast majority end up having subsequent surgeries to correct problems and replace leaking implants.
