Charlize Theron has been tipped to play Anna Nicole Smith in a film about
her life.

The actress is movie bosses' first choice to star as the Playboy Playmate
who married an 89-year-old oil billionaire and died aged just 39 last week.



A source revealed: "You couldn't make up a life story like Anna's. Studios
are falling over themselves to pay tribute to an incredible woman. There are
a number of actresses earmarked to play Anna, with Charlize the favorite."

This won't be the first time the 31-year-old South African has played a
controversial real-life character.

Charlize won an Oscar in 2004 for her portrayal of US serial killer Aileen
Wuornos in 'Monster'.



Anna Nicole died last Thursday (02.08.07), after being found unconscious in
Hollywood's Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

Her death came during a time of personal grief - her 20-year-old son Daniel
died five months ago - and in the middle of a bitter paternity battle over
her daughter Dannielynn.

After a failed teenage marriage she moved to Houston to become a stripper
and met elderly oil billionaire J. Howard Marshall.

Anna Nicole, 26, married Marshall, 89, in 1994, but he died the following
year. She spent the next decade battling his family for his estate.

She got her big break in 1991 when Playboy boss Hugh Hefner chose her to
appear on the magazine cover.

translation: exploit this sad drama mama for every penny you can squeeze out of her silicone injected, drugged up, crazy corpse.

Charlize is an incredible actress and would probably do a great job. However, she’d need to get curvier for that role. I personally think Jenny McCarthy would play a good Anna!

And knowing hollywood and their obsession with angelina, i wouldn’t be surprised if they give her the role since they give her everything. But i think charlize would be great to play her, and after reading this short bio of anna i don’t see how she was an incredible woman.

Why on earth would we need a movie about ANS?

The incredible woman part is a little far-fetched, I must agree.  Putting her on a pedastal now is just a little foolish.

Charlize would at least give the character some soul, and not let her turn out as cartoonish as she sometimes was in real life, and would at least do the background work for the role.

Yeah, they are really pushing this incredible woman thing. I mean Anna was no saint. I’m not going to lie, it is such a tragedy that she died, but acting like she should be honored for the person that she was is totally ridiculous. Just because she is gone doesn’t change the outrageous life she had before that.
