Christina Aguilera has infuriated fans by reportedly lip-syncing at a New York concert on Friday (03.23.07).

Audiences at the Madison Square Garden show were alerted to the possibility that the 'Dirrty' singer might have been miming through the entire set when she encountered undisclosed technical problems.

The blonde star's manager Irving Azoff admitted there were some sound-related problems during the show, but did not comment on the allegations that Christina was lip-syncing.

He said: "Miss Aguilera is one of the most talented vocalists to ever grace the stage. However, we did have a technical problem with the sound equipment at the Garden."

The 26-year-old singer - who is married to music marketing executive Jordan Bratman - had so far received rave reviews for her 'Back to Basics' North American tour.

Whatta horrible outfit, & her makeup makes her look at least 20 years older than she is.

Can’t say that I really love her but she is no Ashlee Simpson.  I think she does actually have talent and people on tour can not expect that their voices are going to be perfect every night.

Her voice wasn’t the problem. If there are technical problems I think they should have either cancelled the concert or given back ticket money. People don’t pay out big bucks to hear a CD they already have at home. I know I’d be pissed if I was tricked into thinking I was getting the real thing. She deserves whatever backlash she gets for her dishonesty to her fans.

Be honest with the ticketholders up front.  If they want to refund their ticket, then do so and don’t stay for the show.  But at least they will know upfront that there are technical difficulties that will interfere with her performance.  She’s established enough that her credibility wouldnt have been lost.

Those pants she has on should be ripped off her and burned immediately.  Must be no mirror when she bought them.  Unflattering, skinny or not!

no one can dance for two hours and sing the whole time! either her fans accept she lip-synchs or don’t expect her to dance. pick one.

I’d be pissed.  Pay for a live show and you want a live show. Not just a body moving around, but singing the songs you’ve come to hear.

I was at that concert at the Garden. It happened during Hurt, her guide vocal and her live singing were out of sync. Maybe her ear monitor had a delay. The whole sound in the Garden was off from the beginning. You could hardly hear Danity Kane singing.
