Eddie Murphy is reportedly set to wed former Spice Girl Mel B next month.

The couple, who have been dating for around four months, will marry in a
lavish ceremony at the Hotel Roosevelt, in Los Angeles.

It is believed Eddie, 45, and Mel, 31, are drawing up a guest list of star
friends they want to attend the nuptials, including Mel's former bandmates
Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Mel C and Emma Bunton.

The 'Nutty Professor' actor's family are thrilled he is going to tie the
knot with Mel, better known as Scary Spice.

His older brother Charlie said: "Eddie seems happy with her and that's what'
s important."

In August, Eddie and Mel enjoyed a Hawaiian holiday with their children at
the exclusive Four Seasons Hotel, in Maui.

It was reported at the time that the trip was intended to be a test to see
how their offspring got on with one another and with their potential new
step-parents.

Eddie, who divorced ex-wife Nicole in April, has five children, while Mel
has a seven-year-old daughter, Phoenix Chi, from her marriage to Jimmy
Gulzar.

Wow, a 4 month romance..and now marriage!  Mel will come out of this with a few bucks when they get divorced in a year or two.  I still think Eddie is bisexual myself.

I kinda really could care less.  They’ll never last.

I like Eddie. He has always made me crack the f*ck up!!! Mel B does kinda look scary, but whatever floats his boat. I agree that this is a REBOUND, Gambitgirl. Rebound relationships rarely work out longterm eventhough they are usually the most intense relationships a person will ever have in the beginning. Maybe that is why they fizzle out after a while. Hell, I don’t know. I wish them luck anyway, I guess.

I don’t know about Murphy… He seems self-absorbed and ego-manaic. His ex-wife seemed that way too—maybe he needs a contrast and Mel just might be it? Her daughter is really cute, but is not as girlie as Madonna’s daughter Loudes seems to be.

How do you marry after dating for 4 months? Dating isn’t being together fully, it’s just dating. And there is no way his family is ok with him ending his marriage of a million years, then announce his wanting to marry a woman he’s been dating for 4 months. 

That’s a lot of kids involved.  I’m sure they won’t rush into anything if they care for those kids.

I was shock to find out that Eddie Murphy and is wife were divorcing. They have five kids together i thought they would be able to work it out. But as long as him and Mel put thier kids first it might work out.

I can see them together.  I hope it works.
