Sir Elton John will receive a special video message from former US president Bill Clinton when he celebrates his 'hen night' tonight (12.19.05).
The one-minute long film - which will be played at Elton's £100,000 star-studded bash at London's swanky Too2Much nightclub tonight - sees Clinton congratulating the star on tying the knot with lover David Furnish.
He says in the tape, which has already been played in rehearsals for the party: "If there were more people in the world like Elton, then the world would be a better place."
A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "We knew Elton had good connections, but to see the ex-US president was something else."
The huge event - which will be compered by British comedian Paul O'Grady - will include an amazing cabaret show starring Elton's celebrity pals, including George Michael,Sting and Lenny Kravitz.
Guests will be served £160-a-bottle champagne and canapés by waiters in cowboy outfits and will be treated to an hour-long show with performances by a host of stars, including the Pet Shop Boys, Take That's Gary Barlow, Bryan Adams and Royal Ballet star Ivan Putrov.
Elton will wed filmmaker Furnish on Wednesday (12.21.05).
