Eva Longoria and Tony Parker have not broken up.

The basketball star has confirmed the pair have been going through a rocky
patch, but insists he and the 'Desperate Housewives' actress are still very
much together.

Tony told the San Antonio Express News newspaper: "Everything's fine. Couple
stuff happened, but that's nothing. Everything is fine."

In addition Eva told E! News host Ryan Seacrest that she was flying to Paris to join Tony for some exhibition games.

The rumours of a break-up came after Eva's publicist released a statement
last Friday (09.29.06) stating the pair were going through "a difficult
time".

Earlier this week, a source close to the couple insisted they had gone their
separate ways.

The source said: "They did break up. It's amicable. They are talking and
trying to figure the best course of action for their future. They are trying
to work things out.

"It's because of the distance, their demanding careers and not living in
same city. It's been going on for a while."

Eva, 31, and Tony, 24, first met in November 2004 but only started dating in
August 2005.

The alleged split came just months after the actress claimed she and Tony
were going to "stay together forever".

She gushed: "There's no way in the world I would rather be single.

"I've said the only reason Tony and I are going to stay together forever is
because we're too lazy to look for someone else."

Please, Tony, don’t get back with her!

Every interview I saw of the two of them together he would be asked a question and before he could even start to answer she was answering for him and babbling on…who wants to put up with that shit from “Miss I want babies, not Oscars” Longwhoria.  I think she’s smothering the guy.

why on earth would the publicist tell the press they are having trouble? publicists shouldn’t be giving that sort of detail…they shoudl stick to no comment, my clients’ private lives are their own business, or confirming if someone is together or broken up…we don’t want or need minute-by-minute-state-of-the-relationship briefings, esp. for couples this boring!
