Borat - aka Sacha Baron Cohen - is being sued for being a prankster.
Two anonymous US college students who appear in the 'Borat' movie have filed
a lawsuit against the comedian for allegedly getting them drunk before
asking them to sign a legal agreement permitting footage of them to be used
in the comedy film.
The legal document, filed yesterday (11.09.06), begins: "Sacha Baron Cohen
is a prankster."
The two fraternity brothers - only named as John Doe 1 and John Doe 2 -
claim they "have suffered and will continue to suffer humiliation, mental
anguish, mental and physical distress and loss of reputation, goodwill and
standing in the community in which they live, work and learn."
Both students are seeking unspecified financial damages from Cohen which
legal papers state to be "in excess of $25,000".
The two men, one of whom is under 21, claim they were taken, "to a drinking
establishment 'to loosen up' and provided alcoholic beverages", and claim
they signed the movie releases after a "heavy drinking" session.
It is alleged the students were then taken to a motor home where they were
filmed and "encouraged to continue drinking" before watching the Pamela
Anderson/Tommy Lee sex tape with Cohen.
They also claim they were promised the film would only been shown in Europe
and not in the US - where it actually ended up reaching number 1 in the box
office charts.

if they win this lawsuit and none of the multiple girls who have sued Girls Gone Wild for the exact same thing win, then something is super wrong with this country.
no…seriously, I saw the movie and if I were one of those guys I would kill myself. They were totally annhialated-they were talking about how women are below men and they’re just for sex. And one fat one was almost crying when the borat dude got upset when he found out pamela wasn’t a virgin. it was pretty bad.

Are you guys serious?!? I drove an hour just to see this movie and it was hilarious! The scene with the high society dinner was sooooo funny! A lot of Americans just don’t get (or like) English humor. I think it’s great how he exposed different regions of the states and what REAL people are really like. Geez….it’s just a joke. Some people just need to lighten up!
I like him, and he plays characters not himself. I used to watch ali g and thought he was crazy, then i saw some borat clips on tv and laughed my ass off.

As far as this character Borat…....I find him extrememly irritating. I swear I would have to b*tchslap him if I ran into him somewhere just because he is so annoying. LOL!!!!!!!!
Loved the movie! He is not sexist, His Character Borat is from a country where that is how women are seen.
As for the Frat guys- they are just pissed because the movie is a huge success- probably want more money.
