Former teen star Melissa Joan Hart has embarked on a new career as a confectioner - despite admitting she never indulges her sweet tooth.

The Sabrina, the Teenage Witch star launched her tasty new venture, candy store SweetHarts, in California over the weekend with celeb pals Kellie Martin and Jaime Pressly.

But despite finally releasing her childhood dream of owning a sweet sanctuary, the star never has cravings for sugary treats - unless she's pregnant.

She tells People.com, "It's been a dream of mine since I was a kid. I'm so excited to start this next adventure in my life.

"Actually, I don't like sweets unless I'm pregnant. It's a very lucky thing! The only thing I'll eat (at the store) is the non-fat frozen yogurt." (WENN/MJ/WNWCPL/ZN)
