Recent signs that the Jennifer Lopez-Marc Anthony marriage is less than peachy:

- According to OK! mag Marc is a "controlling" and "suffocating" husband. They had such a huge fight last summer Jennifer had to stay at a friend's apartment in NY.

Another argument came in December, OK! says. Instead of spending New Year's Eve together, the mag reports, Lopez came to a Miami party solo. "Marc expected Jennifer to follow him back to New York and beg for forgiveness, but she didn't," a friend tells OK!

"Marc is very machismo," the mag quotes a source as saying. "Marc won't let her even do a photo shoot by herself. He is always there watching, waiting."

At a Golden Globes party, "Marc [dragged] Jennifer away after spotting her dancing with another man. … He has also insisted that Jennifer sell her beloved Miami home and the Los Angeles house where they wed."

Just the weekend before last I ran into JLO herself in an elevator at the Hardrock Hotel Orlando, in which we were both staying. JLO however was there to tape an appearance on the Ellen Show. Poor girl, that is all I can say.

She was just getting reports of her CD sales from a female friend and seemed far beyond upset. Then JLO began rambling about how big of a baby Marc Anthony was and how she wished he would back off.

As part of a plea agreement, he and two others agreed to pay a total of $2.5 million in back taxes. In exchange, Anthony, whose real name is Marco Antonio Muniz, will avoid criminal prosecution.

The charges stem from an investigation into three companies controlled by Anthony, Ari Enterprises, Ltd., Bolero Records, Ltd., and Marc Anthony Productions, Inc. According to the New York County District Attorney, Anthony and two others who worked for these companies "failed to file New York State and City corporate tax returns and pay their respective tax liabilities."

So her and katie should become bff’s.

i’m not surprised Marc is controlling. J.Lo loved it at first b/c she was used to being the bitch boss of Ben Affleck and everyone else…and the though of letting someone else take charge and take care of her was probably pretty enticing. it’s the whole dominant in public/submissive in private thing. but it gets real old after the love-dovey shit wears off and he just become plain controlling and nagging.
