Jenny McCarthy’s Marriage Theory

Jenny McCarthy has no plans to marry her boyfriend Jim Carrey.

The one-time Playboy Playmate of the Year revealed she and the 'Dumb and
Dumber' actor - who have been dating since last December - are in no rush to
take the next step in their relationship.

She said: "We're happy with the way things are. We have no plans to get
married."

McCarthy, 34, added that she and Carrey, 44, model their relationship on
Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, who have been together for 23 years but never
married.

She told US TV show 'Extra': "We're both comfortable not getting married. We
like the Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell theory.

"I'm very comfortable not having to have a certificate. I think there's
something wonderful about people wanting to stay together because they want
to stay together.

"I have this theory about marriage licences. They should almost be like
driver's licenses, after four years they expire and you have to renew them.

It's also a bit romantic because after four years you go, 'You know what, I
still love you. Let's get married.'"

The couple were guests at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding in Italy last
month.

McCarthy admits she was thrilled to have been invited to the lavish
nuptials.

Speaking about the trip, McCarthy said: "I was very happy to be there with
him."

How can she compare her relationship of 6 months to people who have been together 20 years?

Dumbass, no talent slut.

Her thighs are HOT!

shoppergirl

Yeah, my opinion, I have to agree, her thighs are smoking. I have always liked Jenny, she’s always been funny and a little goofy. Plus, she seems really comfortable in her own skin.  I think Jim Carrey looks super hot with long hair. Married or not they make a great couple.

Marvin

I think this is the 1st pic I’ve ever seen of her without her cake hole wide open. Jime Carey makes me sick and so do his movies. I think the guy has mental problems.

Jillianhyde

I agree Marvin. I think he’s got some mental problems too. I have never cared for his movies. As for her, whatever.  Normally she’s way out there and rather sickening but can be funny at times, very few times. And dating a mere year doesn’t mean they’ll be together forever anyway.

i think they both look like satan

ShutYourMouthWhenYoureTalkinToMe

Those are some hot ass legs.

TyraSkanks

She don’t want to push him into marriage because she may appear to “gold-diggerish.” And he would get the sense knocked into him and realize she is a half-wit that only possesses great legs.

Don’t tie a man down; let him think otherwise. Shut your mouth and open your legs.

choochootrain

Jim is bipolar.
As for Jenny.. her legs are really hott!

The truth probably is is that the guy (mental case that he truly is - always on, never turned off)is a kazillionaire and doesn’t want to split everything halfway with Jenny if their relationship hits the skids.

He was engaged to Renee Zellwegger for about two minutes and married to Lauren Holly for about the same amount of time.  He would drive me right up the wall…in about two minutes also.

Hello, where’s the kid she had while married???  And why in the hell were they invited to this shindig??  Never starred in the same movies together or anything…

AgentHollywood

I like jim carrey, he’s funny to me. He went from a homeless person to a celebrity, talk about working hard. And jenny is goofy and seems down to earth, and her legs are freakin hot.

I’d hit that about a dozen different ways.

she has a point way too many people get married.  what is the point anymore…just permanently date lol

Jennie McCarthy has put a smile on my face for many years.  She’s intelligent, talented, beautiful, and “fun”.  I’ve never known her to pull a “Lohan” or “Hilton” and her demeanor, though precocious most of the time, has been the demeanor of a lady.  Jim Carrey is a nut.  But he too is intelligent, quick-witted, and a die-hard work-a-holic.  The fact that he’s rich is secondary to his work ethic.  I enjoy the idea of the two of them together.  And whether it lasts a year, or a lifetime - they’re attitude is healthy and smart.  “Being together” is all that matters.  As long as you enjoy it - enjoy it.  When it is no longer something you want you can “renegotiate” the terms of your relationship.  Whatever happens to these two, I wish them well.  And I admit - I’m annoyed by many of the comments here.  I’ve been married 39 years - and I’m proud of it.  But I’m also supportive of alternative relationships like Hawn/Russell, and now McCarthy/Carrey.  Ease up folks, it’s THEIR life they’re leading, not yours!
