Jessica Alba says she hates being typecast as a sex kitten.
The screen beauty confessed she's fed up with being labelled a 'sexy girl'
and of being asked to play whores and saucy maids.
The 'Sin City' beauty also hinted she'd like to be offered more serious
roles, like actress Natalie Portman.
The brunette actress revealed: "The scripts I get are always for the whore,
or the motorcycle chick in leather or the horny maid. I get all those
screenplays that start, 'Tawnya is in the shower. The water streams down her
naked, perky breasts.
"Somehow, I don't think this is happening to Natalie Portman."
Meanwhile, Jessica has confessed she is desperate to strip off on the big
screen - but is terrified of what her father would say.
The sexy actress says she would have no problem showing off her curvaceous
figure in a movie if the role demanded it.
However, Alba, who is currently sending pulses racing in her movie 'Into The
Blue' as a bikini-clad heroine, is worried her prudish dad would be furious.
She said: "I'm going to have to face a situation one day when a big director
has an amazing script and wants me to do a nude scene
"I know my father would lose his mind over it"

Can someone remind me what's wrong with being the whore, the motorcycle chick in leather or the horny maid in a movie? Sex sells and I'm sure when Jessica Alba looks in the mirror she is complaining about her sexiness. Once you do anything sexy in a movie, it's all over then. She could play Mother Teresa for all we care and we'd still picture her in her skimpy bikini.

To Jessica Alba, you’re not offered Natalie Portman’s roles because she’s a good actress. You’re offered eye-candy roles because that’s what you are…that’s all you are, be proud, it’s not the worst thing in the world to be considered a sexy woman.
I think JAlba is a cool chick, but I also don’t understand why everyone is so enamored with her looks. Is it just me or does she look sorta ordinary? I see many better looking girls on the streets of NYC almost every day.
At least she is trying to further herself as an actress. Perhaps no one knows her acting range because she isn’t offered any parts that show it off.

Wow. What is wrong with wanting to be like Audrey Hepburn? That’s quite a role model if you ask me. Natalie Portman is beautiful and dresses like a sophisticated woman, not an old lady. She just not as scantily clad as other people her age. Jessica Alba is right for envying her acting carrer.
