Jessica Simpson wants to adopt.

The singer-and-actress wants to have a big family but fears she may not be
able to cope with childbirth more than once.

She told Britain's Star magazine: "I want to adopt before I actually have my
own kids. I want three kids - but I don't know if I can give birth three
times. I'll have to see how much pain is involved first time round!"

Jessica, who split from husband Nick Lachey in November 2005, insists she
has also been inspired to adopt by Angelina Jolie - who has two adopted
children, Maddox and Zahara.



She explained: "I think Angelina Jolie has done amazing things. The
international adoption rate has skyrocketed."

As well as wanting to adopt, Jessica - whose new album 'A Public Affair'
comes out on February 12 - also wants to "save the world".

She said: "Ever since I was a kid I said I wanted to save the world somehow,
I didn't know how. I think I'll end up doing things that can touch somebody
in some way that's good - like through orphanages."

Oh God! When will it finally reach the celebrities, that children are no toys to just take home and adopt when a mood comes. I wholly agree with the previous comments: one must be a responsible adult before even thinking of taking a young innocent life under care. She’d better try with a puppy dog or a kitten first before attempting to make any human babies her test-subjects. At least dogs or kittens are much easier to raise than kids. And their lives are shorter (in case she manages to turn it into a misery for them).

Hell i havn’t given birth yet. But it’s hurt’s from what people say and from what i see. So i don’t blame Jessica for saying that. Child birth isn’t easy. atleast Jessica simpson has better reason for having her own child then that “homewrecker bitch” Angelina. Hell the bitch called her own child a blob.

anyways i wish stars would start adopting from US or Canada. Kids in North America need homes too. We need to start taking care of are own problems before we take care of others.

Shouldn’t worry about the child birth, should be worried about how you’re going to take care of the child for the rest of its life.
I was in labor for over 18 hours, and it was worth it and then some for having my daughter in my life.

Newsflash Jessica bimbo…..the pain during childbirth only last for a short time and there are drugs to prevent you from feeling it…duhhh. The sleepless nights that last for months and the years after that when you have to CARE for a child is the hardest part. Sweetheart, I think you better stick to what you do best…making bad movies and CD’s that nobody takes notice of, and leave the rest to us intelligent people out in the real world.
