Jessica Simpson is allegedly planning to have a baby with her gay
hairdresser.
The single actress - who has made no secret of her desire to have children
and has spoken of adopting - is planning to have artificial insemination and
her long-term friend and stylist Ken Paves wants to be the father.
A source told More magazine: "Jessica has considered adopting but I think
she has always wanted to experience pregnancy.
"She's an old fashioned girl. I'm sure she wants a child who is biologically
hers.
"She and Ken were having dinner and Jess was moaning about how she couldn't find a man to commit and how immature the guys she has dated have been.
"Jess suggested artificial insemination. Ken is just as eager to have a
baby, but his boyfriend isn't as keen on the idea.
"However, she and Ken agreed to begin the process in the next six months."
Jessica recently admitted she was yearning for a baby, and was seriously
considering adoption.
She said at the time: "I want to adopt before I actually have my own kids."
Jessica, 27, finalized her divorce from Nick Lachey last June.
She has since dated singer John Mayer, who is now rumored to be in a
relationship with actress Cameron Diaz.
Ken Paves is around so much even ex Nick Lachey couldn't get close enough to make a baby. Jes needs to stop spending so much time with her hair stylist, friends or not how can she possibly find a man with him attached to her hip.
Papa Joe Simpson will have none of this and has even tried hooking Jes up with other men.

what is the big deal with her having a gay male best friend? So she is seen with him alot and that means she was bad for her ex husband?
Sorry. Not buying it. If she wants kids with this guy, who are we to judge it? And Mayer going from Jess to Cameron Diaz? DOWNGRADE!
Goes to show the girl doesn’t have an original idea in her head. Seems they are stealing the story plot from the movie with Madonna and Rupert Everett where Madonna has his baby for the same reasons Jessica is stating. They must have watched it together the other night. Please…what an idiot.
That’s just strange. That would be a horrible thing to do to a child. She just needs to wait a while until she does find that guy, if she does.
I just think that before they make such a major decisoon, they should decide who is going to be the major caretaker, and how much of a role the sperm donor gay friend will play in the kid’s life. And does she care if he is going to be a good dad or not? She needs to think of all of this for the sake of her sanity and the kid’s life. Maybe she would be bettewr off waiting for a good man to mary and have the baby with.
Non traditional families are fine. But I don’t know that she would be able to live happily in the future with this decision. They have alot of talking to do first, IMO.
Non traditional is great, too. Mine was anything but traditional. I just can’t imagine having a baby with a man who is with someone else just for the sake of wanting one. She has to think about the fact that the baby would need a good solid father figure, which maybe Ken Paves would be. I have no idea. I just hope she doesn’t go about this too hastily. It could work out, and then it could really turn into a mess as well.
Agreed, Samantha. I hope she doesn’t get all wrapped up in wanting a baby for herself and make a big huge mistake. That would be selfish and make life hard for the baby caught in the middle of it all. She and Ken need to think about this carefully.
Umm.. HELLO!!!! This has got to be the most idiotic thing I’ve ever heard, EVER. I certainly hope it’s NOT TRUE. She’d rather not adopt because she’d PREFER to have a baby through natural childbirth via artificial insemination using her gay hairstylist as the sperm donor who also just happens to have his own boyfriend and be in his own relationship????!!! WTH????? Am I the only one who thinks that this is the most ill-conceived idea, EVER?? Please. Give me a damn break. This whole scenerio doesn’t make even a drop of sense. She needs prayer. REAL prayer. Either that, or she needs to grow a BRAIN with the swiftness.

To each his/her own, but I hope this story is BS! She is still young and should give herself time to find a good guy to settle down and have kids with. Maybe she should adopt first. It just seems like a plan like the one stated above would eventually go sour and there would be HUGE problems. It would most definitely put a strain on a friendship. IMO! Marriage and parenthood is difficult enough. Friendship and parenthood?!?! I just think it wouldn’t mesh well. I think that in a couple years if she has not found a guy to settle down with and start a family with then she should consider a Plan B…having a child with her friend/hair stylist or adopting!?!
She should stop working out her legs so hard, they’re starting to look like men’s legs !
Btw, on the actual topic here ... I kind of hope it IS true and I’m all for it. She wants to be a mother but can’t find a husband, so nothing wrong with choosing a father and going ahead with her wishes ! It’s a good exercise of control women should have. But I’ll bet if it is true, the Republican and religious wingnuts will flip out because 1) they hate gays and 2) they hate it when a woman has control of her body.

I don’t buy this story but if it is true, then more power to him. It seems that Jess can’t find a man so it is only right to her that her best friend father her baby. Too bad she won’t be doing it the old fashioned way, lol!

Celeb-observer, that was a very narrow-minded and silly comment. I know plenty of conservatives, traditionalists and republicans that are anything but haters. And many of them are, in fact, women.
She had the chance with her husband but then decided to cheat on him multiple times. Maybe if she would have realized what she had and not been blinded by fame she wouldnt have to date “immature men”.
