Joel Madden Returns $3,000 Worth Of Pillows Wife Nicole Richie Purchased In Public Tweet “Fight”

On Monday, Joel Madden had a quiet hissy fit over a recent purchase made by Nicole Richie, his fashionista wife: $3,000 worth of pillows.

"Do you ever look at your credit card bill and ask your wife how the hell she could spend 3 thousand dollars on pillows? I do. PILLOWS," the Good Charlotte singer, 31, tweeted.

Fashion and jewelry designer Richie, 29, whom he married last December, had a simple retort: "That's why I ignore your calls," she tweeted.

Continued Madden: "I mean, can't we just go to Target and get our pillows??? [Shaking My Head]."

"Needless to say, the pillows are going back to the expensive ass pillow store. Hope she likes the Target pillows I'm putting in their place!...Trust me the pillows were gone before i even tweeted!"

When a pal asked how a pillow could cost so much, Madden joked, "I was thinking they must be made from unicorn manes or some s***."

Joel's tweet from about 19 minutes ago state: "It must be a slow news week when magazines & blogs are writing about my wife buying expensive pillows."

Nicole's tweet from about 23 hours ago state: "I keep getting tweets from Irving Plaza saying @JoelMadden is wasted. I'm sorry NYC."
