Kate Hudson has gone a date with musician Damien Rice, it has been claimed.
The 'Almost Famous' actress has reportedly got back in the dating game since
"cooling things off" with actor Owen Wilson and she invited the Irish singer
to a birthday party for director Brett Ratner last month.
A friend of Kate's told Us Weekly magazine: "She is exploring everything
while trying to get over Owen."
Kate was romantically linked to Owen - who she met on the set of 'You, Me
and Dupree' - shortly after she announced she was separating from her
husband, Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, but it has now been claimed
the pair have decided to end their alleged relationship.
A source close to the 27-year-old actress said: "They have definitely cooled
off. She adores him and wished it had worked out. But it didn't."
While a source close to Owen, 38, confirmed: "Owen is calling girlfriends to
tell them he is single."
Owen was notably absent from the Kate's lavish New Year's Eve party at her
home in Los Angeles' Pacific Palisades.
Kate saw in 2007 in style with a host of celebrity pals including Justin
Timberlake, Ryan Phillippe and Eva Mendes.
Thank God Owen finally saw the light. I’m sorry, but she’s ugly. She looks like she was hit in the face with a frying pan.

i think that kate is as cute as a button. seriously. i also have thought that owen was NOT good looking—AT ALL. i recently saw part of ‘you me &..” (part because it was not complete worthy) and he played the biggest, stupidest, ugliest, gooniest, geekiest fool; being dupree. if i ever had an ounce of respect for him, it was lost in this movie. nobody with self respect should take on a role like that—at any cost. i certainly hope that idiodic movies are all he intends to star in. like jessica simpson ... this is as far as he will go in the industry—IMHO.

I think she is cute. Not beautiful, stunning or gorgeous…just cute. I thought she was funny in “How to lose a guy…” but other than that movie I have always thought her acting was mediocre at best. Owen, on the other hand, I have always found sexy as hell in a very weird way. I fell in love with him in Zoolander. I thought he was funny as h*ll. I didn’t think it would last long between the two of them.
