For gods sake people, what is the big deal with her feet? She chooses to go out barefooted? Thats her business besides she can wash her feet can’t she? Agreed Molly, all these people making a big deal out of this need to a) get a life, and b) get a clue.  There are so many reasons people get dirty, and what do you do in fairly short order?  You wash.  I’m betting she went home and did just that.  Guess what, humans didn’t always have shoes either, and feet are made for walking on.  If anything the lesson here should be hey, humans need to clean up and keep thier cities cleaner, because people SHOULD be able to walk around barefoot without anyone caring or it being a hazard.

Her only mental illness is that she loathes mediocrity.  Perhaps going without shoes is intended to be social commentary.  She is acting subtly obnoxious intentionally.  Americans certainly should understand this except for the part about doing it deliberately.
