TMZ has learned that actor Lou Diamond Phillips was arrested early Friday morning for alleged domestic violence.
Police were called to a home in Northridge, Calif. around 2:00 a.m. and found Phillips and his live-in girlfriend in an argument. The couple had apparently gotten into a heated verbal argument that escalated and became physical. Phillips was arrested and taken to the Devonshire police station where he is currently being held on $50,000 bail.
Phillips is perhaps best known for his portrayal of 50's teen idol Ritchie Valens in "La Bamba" and has most recently been seen on NBC's "Law & Order: SVU" and various other TV guest star appearances.
Wonder if he’s got the money to get out of jail?

Little tidbit..Lou’s first wife left him, became a lesbian, and lived with Melissa Etheridge for a few years. She is the one who had the two children (with David Crosby of Crosby, Stills, and Nash as the biological sperm donor) with Melissa. They aren’t together anymore but I bet Lou wasn’t happy his wife left him for another woman..most men aren’t!

I never could understand why Melissa would CHOOSE a fat, ugly, alcoholic, drug addict to be the father of her children. The odds are against those kids right from the jump.

LDP seemed like such a promising actor back when La Bamba came out. Last time I saw him was on Howard Stern with a very bimbonic looking blonde sitting on his lap (his GF at the time, maybe the same one?)...
Always thought the thing with his ex-wife was kinda sad - I think they were married young - maybe she didn’t realize she was a lesbian at the time!
vtgal, I agree, David Crosby wouldn’t be my pick for sperm donation, I don’t care how talented he may be! Melissa Etheridge married her new GF, who was an actress on a WB show called “Popular” a few years back.

Yup, I was aware that his first wife, Julianne?, left him for Melissa Etheridge. Of all the sperm donors, David Crosby wouldn’t even be on my list, but maybe he was the only one who obliged. Who knows??
I think LDP is a loser if he’s abusive to women in his life. There’s no excuse for it!
