Lindsay Lohan's mother is furious after a Hollywood studio boss attacked her
hard-partying daughter.
Dina Lohan was livid after Lindsay got a letter from James G. Robinson - CEO
of Morgan Creek Productions - on Thursday (07.27.06) calling the actress
"irresponsible and unprofessional" after she didn't turn up for work on her
movie 'Georgia Rule'.
The outraged mother told People magazine: "My daughter is a wonderful child.
This is too much."
The day after Lindsay called in sick, after she was briefly hospitalised for
dehydration and heat exhaustion, Robinson wrote: "We are well aware that
your ongoing all-night heavy partying is the real reason for your so-called
'exhaustion'."
However, Dina insists her daughter's time off was entirely justified.
She fumed: "On the set it was 105 degrees and she has bronchial asthma - so
any extreme heat or cold, she can't breathe."
"She was wearing winter clothes and she was telling people, 'I need water, I
need water'."
Meanwhile, Robinson has defended what he wrote, saying: "I've never had a
minute's trouble with her. She's every inch a lady. I felt I needed to
remind her of her obligations to show up."

Thing is…her mom is trying to make us feel bad because the weather bothers L’s asthma…if her asthma is so bad (and a lot of my family/friends have asthma) then her late nights at smokey bars wouldn’t do her any good either, heh. Then again, what do I know.
lol This should explain a huge difference between Lindsay and Marilyn Monroe since it was last week that I read someone compared Lindsay to her. Marilyn was put up with when she was late or took days off because she was box office gold. Even Billy Wilder said it.

And if Dina is such a protective mother, why isn’t she concerned her daughter underage drinks; smokes cigarettes (what about the asthma?) and goes out in the heat to hang out at the beach? What a hypocrite. As long as her meal-ticket keeps making money, she’ll let her do what she wants. She’ll be in for a surprise when no one will hire her anymore.

Lindsay’s mom is not raising her right, she needs to stop making excuses for her trainwreck daughter. She really needs to start being a mother instead of her party pal. She is only protecting her because she is getting paid for being her manager.
It’s awful ironic to me how Lohan’s mom defends her about the heat and her asthma, when all the pics of Lohan are in a bikini on the HOT beach. This chic is always sunning and/or partying without hospitalization. Admit it Lohan, you had a hang over and were dehydrated…thus your hospital trip. Grow up!

Lets face it, if it were us and we were constantly missing work due to “exhaustion”, we would most likely be fired and our mothers would not get involved in calling our place of employment to defend us, were not 6 anymore. Lindsey has the jobs of many people in her hands right now and they depend on her to come to work on time.When she doesnt show up she costs the studio lots of money. i really hope that the studios will wake up and see what a mess this girl is and stop hiring her for work. Let her struggle to get work, everything is just handed to her. Dina Lohan said her daughter will win an academy award for this movie (lol) so lets just see her reaction when she doesnt, im sure she will make excuses for her!
