Elijah Wood has revealed Jared Leto started a fight with him because he
didn't like his music.

The 'Lord of the Rings' star was involved in a tussle with the 'Fight Club'
actor at the mtvU Woodie Awards in October after Leto confronted him about
comments he had made about his band, 30 Seconds to Mars.



Elijah told Jane magazine: "He was basically upset at the fact that I said I
didn't like his band. He said that initially and then walked away.



"I guess he thought I was laughing at him, but I was more shell-shocked and
telling people around me, 'Whoa, I just got told off by Jared Leto for not
liking his band.' And that's when he came back and grabbed me.

"I told Jared it wasn't personal. He acted like I'd been disrespecting him
or speaking about his family. Things like that don't generally happen to me.
I'm very non-confrontational. The whole thing was kind of ridiculous."

The 'Bobby' actor - who turns 26 on Sunday (01.28.07) - had previously
insulted 35-year-old Leto's music in an interview with Blender magazine in
2003.

He said: "I would never try to be like other actors and attempt to make
music myself. I mean, have you heard 30 Seconds to Mars? F***ing awful,
man!"

His music does suck and he looks like a girl.  You can’t deny that he definitely looks like a girl in this photo.  Look at his hair.  It’s all straight and shiny.  I gotta say that I’ve never been a big fan of Jared Leto.  I don’t find him attractive at all.  Maybe trying to fight with Elijah Wood is his way of getting some attention.  He can’t go around beating everyone up just because they think that his band sucks.  Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I think he’s hot. I’m not into his music a lot but I went to one of their shows seeing as they play a lot around here in Louisiana. Well, he flipped me off when he asked for the people to open a pit right where I was standing and I just yelled “Hell no”. He’s a douche.

Oh Jared, go back to the drama queens Cameron Diaz and Clare Danes. You will never be lucky enough to be in another “Fight Club”

Leto was hot in “My So Called Life” but since then he’s dunzo…the effete eyeliner and horrid band. over it since 1998!

He looks ridiculous.This whole transformation from cute but ordinary guy into a “rockman"is strange in my opinion…

I do not know why you all speak so bad of him…yes not all can like his exterior…but I live in Ukraine in Odessa and most Americans does not even know where is..and even at us 30 seconds to mars well know and consider a high-quality and good group..Jared talented person

30 Seconds to my Butthole, as I like to refer to it.  BAD music.  Very unoriginal and formulaic.  He’s just tryin to make a quick buck off of 15 year olds by folloeing the trend.  Thats sad since he wasn’t a bad actor to begin with.

Actually I heard he looks a lot better on film and in pics thasn in person.  His eyes are really close together and freakishly small.  I don’t think a 35 year old dressing like a 15 year old who just had a shopping spree at Hot Topic is in the least bit sexy.

His music is F**kin Great and Kicks A**, have u listened to it? The drums beats the vocals??!! u guys have no clue what good music is all about. Ive been to his show, great performance, Alive full of energy and ON TOP OF THAT, they all stay afterwards to sign EVERYONE an autograph!!! Can’t say that for many Bands!

Well, just the fact that they stayed on to sign EVERYONE an autograph after the show tells you just how many people went to the show.LOL I believe their 15 minutes are up right…. about….NOW!
